Thank you for this, I’m trying to be less afraid of commenting so I answered what I could, but there’s just so many and ofc some questions can only be answered by you. Your shorts comments are getting wild and I ended up just responding to hate comments because they were ridiculous. One person even claimed to be a doctor which I hope isn’t true if they’re fakeclaiming disabled people🙄 Thank you for spreading awareness, despite the hate it really truly is helping people feel less alone and understand these disorders better.
@@Zara_Beth hey I just wanted to tell you that your amazing all my friends and family love your content and your amazing attitude and just being an awesome person can’t wait to see how far you succeed with your unique story and the content you make and also I’ve learned so much I didn’t know and I have several friends with similar ticks and I can now understand how to make them more comfortable around our group your awesome and we all love ya 🤘🤘
Google is for sure recommending videos on my recent health related searches. Just came across your channel and I can relate, i'm in my 30's and my childhood tics have "reactivated" and it's very difficult to seek help or even talk about it with anyone that understands, I appreciate you putting yourself out there, it is for sure helping people cope and understand. I HATE "getting stuck" in a tic, it is the worst feeling :(
Zara, I hope you know how much joy your videos bring us. Your so real, you don’t hide your tics. Not to mention your drop dead gorgeous. love you Zara! 💗💗 let’s get this girl to 100k!
Hey I love the positive that you promote. I hate how people treat people with turettes especially in new York where I'm from. I wish more ppl would come out and talk about there diseases and not be ashamed of it. I love your videos keep it up and don't let any hate comments get to you
honestly I just wanted to let the people at school know what was happening and it was my way of telling them by posting online! then obviously it got a little further than school friends🥹
You are so real and I love your channel. It is so positive and such a good environment. You look exactly like my sister, so much so that it is frightening lol. You guys are around the same age too!
My Q and A for you, what’s your favorite color gorgeous! Those are also important questions to ask the things you like define your beautiful self not the tics! Don’t stop the grind keep it up 😍😍
Hey ! The algorithm made me discover your shorts and here I am ! Just letting you know that you made it to France 🇫🇷😉. I love your way of explaining who you are with a lot of transparency and I got to understand what the Tourette syndrome really is. Thank you for doing this and keep up the good work 👍
i have question. what you do in college if you had supstitune teacher and you had tics or you faint? (btw i love your videos and you are so brave to tell about your tics and fainting :) i just found your channel and im glad i did💗)
This makes me feel more comfortable about myself. I have Tourette’s and I have coprolalia and it makes me really embarrassed at school and I suppress them as I do have anxiety and all that makes it much worse. I have had it for a few years and is still trying to figure out ways to not trigger it as much or make sure that it isn’t as bad. Never suppress your tics people it makes it 10x worse. So yeah thank you so much for making these videos it makes me feel so mich better ❤
I have POTS so have fainted many of times lol. I think it's different for everyone but I used to be really good at knowing when it was time to get to the ground before I fell to it. A big sign for me was the changing of color I'm the spots. Like if it was white or grayish spots I could walk a bit and it may pass. Where as if things got colorful it was time to get down. NOW. Fainting in public can be embarrassing and frustrating. Those who know me have gotten used to it. But when it was really bad or I'm not with close friends/family. People panic. Not their fault. Obvs it's scary. But fainting in public and coming around and having to deal with EMS sucks!. I'm in a smaller ish area so it didn't take too long for EMS to just know me. They'd show up. Ask if I was okay. And believe me that I was. The thing with fainting is that the actual faint is not what's dangerous. It's the falling and bashing things on the way down. The best way I've found to describe it for me is kinda like when a computer freezes up so you just....unplug it and then plug it back in. Like a hard reset for my autonomic nervous system. ❤️
I'm sorry for my English, I'm from Russia. Today RU-vid offered me your videos. I've heard about this syndrome before. But now I see how much it can interfere with life. Humanity could learn to treat yours and other diseases, but instead it spends limitless resources on wars and consumption. I can only wish you not to be discouraged. I hope you have friends who support you.
Hey Zara x I was just wondering, if you’re feeling faint and you can’t get to a safe position quickly, when you fall would you feel pain after you come around? Ik it’s a bit of a stupid question but i just always think that xx love you and your videos about spreading awareness for Tourette’s and fnd and seizures
I've only ever fainted a few times but once was when I used to be an altar server at church and I fainted in front of everybody on Easter Sunday when it was really busy
Zara! i send you a very huge hug from Argentina! keep up with your videos, you are a lovely person and very good to! Wish you the best of lucks! see you in your next video!
I definitely want to see more of these. I love hearing about people’s lives, and what they go through. You are so strong. I couldn’t imagine dealing with all of the things you do every day. ❤️
i have lots of fainting episodes too and doctors don't know what I have. I can say that I relate to all the stuff about fainting and I've fainted many many times in church and would faint randomly at home as a child. one time I almost fainted but got saved right before I did!
Hi Zara, I don't want to sound like creepy or something, but you're so pretty and seem like you have a beautiful personality, I just wanted to tell you that,(I'm fifteen btw)
Yes how do people around you like your friends and people that don't know you do they already know that you might have seizures what is your most embarrassing moment in class as far as a seizure. Has your teacher ever try to talk to you as you were in a seizure. Please more story times or a video filled with some. Thank you I'm new you're awesome!!!
Do you even realize how attractive you are girl ❤ tics, seizures and all. You are gorgeous, charismatic and obviously very capable and determined. All the best 👍
3 days have passed since posting this video, and you're at 106k. Congrats. I just found your channel 30 minutes ago via shorts. I don't like you too; I'll have a cupcake. ☺️
im curious, when in class when do people intervene, also i watched the video in the music class it seemed no one was around how does that work when your on your own
Is there medicine you can take to make all your symptoms better? And how well does the medicine work? Also, when you pass out do you get really scared? I passed out once during a glucose test and it was terrifying. I felt so bad and then my vision went dark and I panicked. I would hate to think you have to feel that way on the daily. P. S. You are very beautiful.
Hi, i love your video’s and hope you’re doing great! I was wondering; if you get a neck tic attack, what would happen if someone would just hold you and support your head so it wouldn’t be able to yank back?
I have a question. I do not mean to ask in a mean way. I noticed you didn't tick in the video. At least, I didn't see any(I am only like 1 minute into the video). I also noticed a lot of cuts in the video. Did you cut the video when you had a tick? I don't really know how ticks work. Also, I am new to the channel, so if you have said it before, I wouldn't know. I just subscribed! Edit: I just saw you tick Do they come a lot at a time or in waves? I guess you could call it.
Hi Zara, I watch one of your shorts. I need to ask you something, can you "mew" during a "tic attack"? I'm sure You know what' mewing is... This can help you maybe, maybe not but try it and write me later. Greetings from Chile. 👋
have you ever busted a vain?and how can you get a haircut? you don't know how much we love you you'll always bring a smile to our faces.❤🌸You are so beautiful
Love your content, and thanks so much for sharing 😊 I'm a behavioural scientist so I'm totally being educated here 🤓 One Q for you though, if you were to one day wake up and be free of Tourrettes and all FND, do you feel like you would miss it? ..like it's part of your identity, would you feel like you'd be losing a part of yourself?
I hope this doesn’t come off as insensitive or rude as I don’t at all intend it to be but does your disorder make you lose weight? I recently discovered your channel and in watching all your videos, there is a significant decline in your weight since the beginning 2 years ago. The difference is quite shocking! Love your content ❤
You may answer this question later in the video, which I’m going to finish watching, but if not, does stress make tics worse? As someone on the autism spectrum, I do what we call stimming, especially when I’m stressed. I’m curious if those things are at all related. EDIT: You did pretty much answer the question. That makes the tics very relatable for me, even if it’s for a different reason. I’ve always found neurology behind all this kind of stuff and how different conditions can be sorta connected very interesting.
i got diagnosed with tourettes syndrome when i was 12, i am now 14 and yesterday was diagnosed with FND i'm happy to know what is happening but it makes it way more scary. you're my inspiration
Question, what are some of your ticks. I have seen that you whistle and swear but what are some other examples. I hope this isn't too invasive and stay safe!
