HUGE Thank You to Stefan M, Florian, and Stefan G for sitting down with English creators to answer our questions about FS25! if your question was not answered, what would you like to know?
Also, can you switch the generated lines, can you switch it how you like it. Like if you want it diagonal or straight or however you like. And can you turn off GPS if you don’t want it and can you see the GPS on a monitor inside your tractor or a mini map on the side left of the screen and thanks DJ for this video. sorry if I sound desperate
I would like to know if after it rains, Does the rain collect into big and small puddles, in low spots of a field, in ditches, and does water in a lake, or pond made into the map rise over time. Thanks you DJ for this video and thank you to those people who sat down to answer questions. I can not wait to see what new features we get.
for me it's not really a question it's more a visual demonstration and not just oh here's a little bit of this I want to see how the fields are set up for with the GPS and how it actually functions especially on consoles
Would really love to see the maps come to life it feels so lonely at the minute. Being able to see other farmers driving around the map and working on fields would be awesome.
With the introduction of flooding rice fields will it be possible for Giants or someone to implement a way to actually water other crops like corn and soybeans? If not i would really like to see it
Great info and thanks for sharing. I'm curious if the file structure for the Giants Editor and the way mods/maps are put together will be the same to allow for quick conversions of existing mods.
Seasons, vehicle stuck in mud, painting roads mechanics, ai traffic imitating field works (its so lonely being alone on the map) and many other good questions was not asked..
To be honest, it would be nice to see if giant's teamed up with the creator of spintires/snowrunner, for the ground deformation. Would make the "getting stuck in mud" a whole new meaning, lol.
Yes, lots of questions that needs answers. My thing is, i want to ask, how is it that modders made "interactive control" in FS09.....But giants still cant do it? Vehicle is so lifeless without it. And yes i would like to ask them if anyone of them have ever visited a farm.
@@flightmaster529 There are few farming missions in snowrunner and they are really bad. So, better try those and then you will realise you dont want snowrunner like ground simulation in farming simulator.
@@MalluPCGamer I meant in general. People want their machines to get stuck in farming simulator, so what better way than to have the mud and ground physics hog cranked to the max.
Good morning. Congratulations on the excellent coverage of the FS25 event. I am a player from Brazil, and for me and millions of other players, a few simple improvements could make a big difference in gameplay. It would be great to have the ability to play in third-person mode, even on consoles, and to make the in-game economy more challenging and realistic, including converting shop prices to other world currencies. Another interesting addition would be to include calves and small animals, allowing them to grow throughout the game. Thank you for your attention!
I have questions 1) will fs25 have precision farming built into the base game like we had with the john deere precision mod on fs22 2) will fs25 have section control on the implements like sprayers and seeders
Lime and grass don’t actually have an effect on how a tire looks in real life. Even if you drive over a heavy dusting of lime with a tractor, your tire might get a tiny bit lighter, looking sun-faded. Grass really only makes your tire a little more wet and a little bit green, so, realistically, it’s better to not have drastic changes to how a tire looks from the lime and grass. There wouldn’t be a chunk of lime building up on a tire and your tractor will never get super dirty from it. The only thing that would have a lot of lime chunks would be the inside of the spreader that you are using. This is coming from a real life farmer in the US. I hope this helps your question on why they don’t spend too much time on these effects like they do with dirt. Thanks 😅.
Heres a question... Are we going to have story mode or something? Some sort of story quest thing? I say this cuz in other channel there was a reference in the powerpoint that the characters from game will be more imersive (the eys will blink, the will be emotional expressions and lips will be synced with speech.... why would GIANTS have the need of syncing the lips to speech since we could play the game without it...
What about alfalfa? Is that going to be more like grass so it can be used to feed cattle, sheep, TMR, and other livestock? Looking forward to all the new improvements.
With regards to the mud on tire effects, does the mud fling off the tires and lay on top of the ground, or road? Like chunks of it laying on top of the road and or ground. I know they mentioned particle affects, just curious if there were chunks involved.
Yeah, for some reason fs always had a mix of the imperial and metric system and it always made it a bit odd to calculate the amount of crops or pallets we have.
It's a really minor thing, but it's been bugging me since FS19, and now it's happening again in FS25. Why are they not adding the dynamic/hydraulic hoses to all the frontloaders? In FS19 they were generally absent, in FS22 Quicke only connects to the tool, not the tractor, Hauer doesn't connect at all, but the John Deere, Claas and Kubota ones have full connectivity. In the rice and baling video's for FS25 you can see the Quicke frontloader doesn't have its connections to the Fendt again. Why do they skip adding these details?
They just meant that they will leave it up to modders to make the 4x+ maps as usual, as they want to prioritize making the 1x maps more diverse and spend time on doing the research for their own maps, etc. It has been mentioned by Marcel on the FS Discord that the actual issue with 4x+ maps on consoles is that Micro and Sony has a limit on how big savegame files can be per game, and the 4x+ save files goes above that limit
I would like to see better walk in farm houses, garage functionality, being able to fix and paint your equipment and better Npc's. Its very weird seem nobody is working on their own fields or farms it gives you the feel of loneliness.
I could envision the addition of fish farms/hatcheries, but I don't think you'll see any deep sea fishing on a 2km map. 😊 Maybe some crawfish? That seems to go along with the rice theme.
I would like to inquire about the possibility of incorporating more dynamic weather events into the game. The cinematic trailer showcased lightning strikes, and I am curious if this feature will be implemented.
I just want to know if weather will be a factor in growing crops. It's a huge factor for real farmers so why is not implemented at all in Farming Simulator? I see FS22 shows wind speed and direction along with the temperature. But why, if it doesn't do anything? I kind of want some risk involved. Every farmer knows that every day your crop is in the field is another chance you could lose the whole thing. I remember FS19's seasons mod gave us a reason to use sheds because rain and snow had an effect on anything that wasn't covered. Whatever happened to that kind of stuff?
Probably going to preorder the fs25 year 1 bundle soon for PS5. I hope the game doesnt lag as much as fs22 because i have a huge farm and it lags little too much in my main farm on PS5. But excited for fs25 anyways.
@@onehandedgamer8431 and i like the Seagate Storage Expansion Card for Xbox Series XS 1TB Solid State Drive or 2tb because xbox s/x games won't play off a portable hard drive idk if that the same with ps5 or not
If there aren't other swathers in game currently (maybe other dlc's would change that), I think is important to know if swathing is basegame code or you'll need the MacDon dlc active to use modded ones, like how it works for passenger support or winches in fs22. I've preorder the collectors edition, so that wouldn't change so much for me, but many people maybe want to know that beforehand.
I think there will be a base game swather. I think he miss understood the question and thought he was asking if other headers or equipment would swath a crop and not if there is a base game swather other then the macdon preorder bonus. My guess since there showing swathing it will be a base game thing but we will have a different swather and pick up header base game other then the macdon in the preorder bonus. Giants always includes stuff base game
I am curious if crop rotation and transport contracts are they coming back on fs25? Also I would love to have different silage types from gras and corncrops, than you have an extra ingredient for your cow feed.
One question I have is about the draw distance. In previous versions there was a discrete radius around the player that beyond that was low quality. However, from the videos I've seen I do not see this. So I'm wondering if that's been improved?
So will the ai workers be able to handle oddly shaped fields on their own now without missing as much crop with the new gps system? Like the fields in Alma on fs22 are very non worker friendly because of the rounded sides and angles.
My question may not be able to be answered yet. Being raised on a farm I know different feeding ingredients have nutritional value to the animal which can affect the volume of production from that animal. Is this something we could see coming to the game?
I want to know, even though I might just have to wait, but with ground deformation if you drive in the same soft spot over and over if it will begin to rut
Can they add a feature to remove unused items from the production facilities? Can they add a reverse if you add something to a production facility that you didn’t mean to?
hello, do the tracked vehicles also react to stones or do they just go through them like the previous versions? will there be mud? Will we now also get more products for the greenhouses or will it remain the same and do we also have to add fertilizers or water, seeds?
Good interview(s), Florian comments were very informational. It sounds like GPS will be a configurable 🙂, My concern revolves regarding the rotting of grass and straw. I would hope that a return to the original "seasons" rotting would happen?
So it the interactive consumables can be turned on and off surely that means manual attach should be feasible? And able to be turned on and off in the base game. Thanks for all the new and your hard work DJ! ❤
Okay DJ, awesome Show and Tell. I love the new AI mapping feature (Seems they have replaced the “simple” CouesePlay functionality). Does the improved AI also support multiple combines in a filed? Also, FS for better or worse has always had mapped routes on roads and still does. Will these routes be available for AutoDrive? Seems unlikely. Also, will the new AI work with AutoDrive in the same manner as CoursePlay and AutoDrive does. Simple example, we can send a tractor /baler combo to a field in FS22 and then have it start baling with CoursePlay; will this same ability be available with AI? I’m thinking CoursePlay and AutoDrive are still going to be required for the serious stuff, (like have a grain truck automatically take the grain to a silo, dump it and then return to the “wait” point.) Still a HUGE AI improvement. Excellent so far!!!!
My question is will Swathing crops and a yield bonus (like if u swathe canola like you would irl give me an extra yield) or is this purely an extra step to just increase the realism?
My questions are. Will enhanced animals (babies, males) be base game? Can we get beef cattle without horns? Can we fence in animals anywhere instead of tiny unrealistic pens? Will dry corn, corn silage and anhydrous be base game? Will we get unit convert base game to use bushels and tons? Can we get a standard for each crop type so you don't end up with 5 types of dry corn? Will animal grazing be base game? Will hay dry on its own like real life? Will there be a way to turn off rolling requirement? Will we get a US version of the tractors and equipment in the store menu? Will we have realistic crop prices? Lots more but you get the idea
@@murdamafia868. GPS mode and AI mode are two separate functions. GPS mode is used by the player, whereas AI mode is used by the hired workers. At least this is what I’ve understood from the videos posted from Giants this weekend.
@@mhaskins69 yeah, you’re right, these people are just not thankful they should try being game developers and see how difficult it really is. but yeah you’re right man.
@@Elijah1573 once you’re at a line, you can turn on auto steer but once you’re at the headlands, you need to turn around go to the next line and you can press auto steering again it’s pretty cool i am not disappointed. I’m pretty satisfied. They improve the game way better than FS 22 🙂🙂
@@johnking6515 no alfalfa is not in game for now and do not replace grass... why do u think so? grass is more then alfalfa.... grass is everywhere on farms....
