Love the show guys. Your videos always provide really good, well grounded, Catholic insights. I'm a New Zealander who is currently 9 months into a conversion from Atheism. I have a triple major in Hard science and have always leaned heavily on Scientism. That all changed, however, when I became a solo Dad and had to look very closely at what I was teaching my son. I agree with going back to the Communion rail and receiving On the tongue. My hands are not consecrated to hold the Eucharist. Only the priests are. Feel it is more respectful and reverent towards the Eucharist.

I love your discussions! Personally, I prefer communion on the tongue. My reasons: 1. When it’s placed straight on the tongue it is less likely to fall. 2. Less chance of particles to spread. 3. I am in a wheelchair primarily, no matter how frequently I wash my hands, they are always dirtied by whatever is on the wheels.

Grew up catholic never ever knew what was going on just knew it was holy. But I went and still going through addiction and my kids also I need got and all of his tools please pray. Love this show. Teaching me a lot. My dad was a catholic raised in orfanige by nuns. but idk if I didn't listen or he didn't know either

Love the Bobblehead dance in the countdown. 🙌 Catholic Education in India has transformed our country. The Nuns and Priests actually got and still get into tiffs with the prevailing govt.to stand where they are. But Convent Education (local name for Catholic Education) still is held in respect because people coming out of these institutions are the most grounded, peaceful and joyful people.

Father I am an 80 year old woman had nuns teach me all through my schooling from when I was 4 to 15 then I went to college. Loved the nuns as they had a great love of God. I got the prize each year on religion test one year I was not at school and they gave me the prize as they said I would have won it anyway. I think we need nuns back in school.

I have been in the church in Barcelona before and after the church was finished it is beautiful in fact Barcelona is filled with beautiful buildings.

I have been confronted by Protestant about if we worship mary to which I replied that in the 10 commandments we are to honor our father and our mother. Jesus Christ honored her I think we better fallow his lead.

CCD and Catholic schools really need to teach better. Kids come out not knowing a thing about Christianity other than the basics.

I understand what you mean but it all depends where you are, my kids and grandkids all went to Catholic Schools my kids and some of my grandkids all the way through high school and my son graduated from the seminary he went to the Josephinum in Ohio but after finishing he realized God was calling him to be a dad. All of them had a wonderful education and one is graduating this year. Oh by the way I live in Kansas. And I myself when I lived in Wichita Ks went for 2 years all day on Saturday to study how to teach Catholic Religious Education and to learn more about my Catholic faith and took extra classes to be DRE. every diocese should do this so that every CCD teacher is really prepare and knows their faith. I will always be so grateful to the Wichita diocese and my family that sacrifice themselves every Saturday from 8am to 5pm for 2 years for their mom and wife to do this.

The Real Presence in the Eucharist is one of the most important beliefs in our Catholic Church. Why is it not mentioned in Apostles Creed nor the Nicene Creed?

You really need to look at how the Wichita Diocese of Kansas is running our catholic schools. Completely tithing based education, so any catholic kid can attend. Catholic education is NOT broken in our diocese. We also have the second most seminarians each year in the country, right behind the Omaha diocese. Tell me there isn’t a connection there? We don’t have a lot of religious orders anymore but I would say 90% of our staff are devout Catholics living the faith daily.

Do you have to say the formal Act of Contrition during confession?

You don’t usually drink alcohol on the show do you? Was it a celebration of some sort? It increased the silliness for sure

I’m glad somebody spoke about the Latin mass restrictions and yes I don’t agree with it not being posted because it does confuse things I go to both masses I prefer the Latin although I don’t understand a lot of the prayers I do like the reference and I like the fact that the priest faces the altar as opposed to The parishioners when doing the blessing but as far as I know where I see the dead this conversation went a little south is you are as a person that is a part of the church the body of Christ allowed to call out what you see wrong in the church and yes most likely even to the popeThere are saints that have corrected the popes in the past even Paul corrected Peter in the Bible but yes I’m sure it must be done respectfully

Father Rich - I love your approach on not being combative. That was a HUGE turn off to ‘religion’ for me in my late teens/early twenties. By the Grace of God my faith never wavered and I was only slightly tainted by means of Catholicism for only a couple years. Now that I’m deeper in my faith and Catholicism, I typically switch the channel off when I hear that kind of rhetoric, it most certainly has not ever had a part of deepening my faith. I love listening to you guys. You keep it real and funny, yet the way you present I’ve learned so much and enjoyed it along the way.

I keep you guys in prayer every day. However. I have to say that Fr. Pagano compared to Fr. Mike Schimdtz is well.... Fr. Mike is a great guy I'm sure.
