You didn't answer the main question which is how much do you charge? Whatever the price is, there's an average and there's a range you could at least provide those two facts it would be very helpful for this type of video

Hello Sol! Thank you for raising this question. Determining the final charge can be a highly intricate process due to the multitude of variables involved. As previously mentioned by Greg, we wish we could provide a clear cut answer, but it would be misleading. We are excited to delve into this topic further in our upcoming podcast, and we encourage you to stay tuned for a more in-depth discussion.😉

Hey guys i enjoy all your videos and id like to ask a question coming from a start up. What would you recommend us to do if we want to score a parking lot or parking garage sweeping job? We’re in California, and i understand each company has their own formula, but what would be something you can recommend when it comes to trying to go out and knock on doors to get the jobs? Thanks

First, you will need business cards and flyers to hand out. Next, identify where you want to do business. Major shopping centers are low hanging fruit. Do a search online for centers in your area and find out if their property manager has an office you can visit or reach out to with information. We also recommend driving in the area you want to do business in to identify opportunities. We are filming a video soon where we will be answering your question in depth! We will message you when it goes live. Thanks for the comment, Ramiro!

Im about to bid on a on contract for dmv parking lot for veterans. The contract states i have to use truck mounted equipment for sweeping. Is this what that means? Or can i still use my small machines just have them mounted to the truck

Excellent! It sounds like they want you to work with a street sweeper, yes. The only piece of equipment we use outside of the vehicle is a leaf blower on rare occasions (usually in the Fall) to make sure the truck picks up all leaves and debris.

Can you tell me more about the model sweeper you have? What is the ball park price on that unit?

Hey guys! Thanks for giving us a tour. This question is really random but Im curious about something related to public health. So as im sure you've seen in inner cities in California theres unfortunately a lot of people dealing with homelessness. That said, theres been an increase in bodily fluids and waste including urine and feces on the streets. How do you deal with that and are workers exposed to those hazards? For example when the brush is handled later is it saturated with those things? Or maybe when the hopper/tank is emptied does the worker come in close contact with a potental pile of excrement? I find this industry interesting because of the schedule and nature of the job, but I get queasy when it comes to human or animal waste. Dirt, oil, chemicals, and general trash dont bother me as much it's just the potentionally infectious matter. Would love to be educated on this. Even if I don't end up doing a job like this I'd still like to be informed.

We do deal with bodily fluids and waste, but our customers typically notify us and we have special procedures for handling this. So it isn't something we come across with our street sweeper, which we use mainly for our customers' parking lots and structures. PPE is always important when handling any type of waste, and our crew wears gloves, masks, etc. whenever necessary. We provide all of this to them. Thanks for your question!
