Just ran across THIS Channel. Love your stand for Christ & sharing HIS WORD with us. Refreshing to hear things like this especially in the world Today-Much Needed. Much Love ❤️ from a neighbor in NC
To live is Christ, to die is gain. I’ve never been nervous going into a surgery. Truly! And when asked about it, usually being mocked, saying ‘Oh I know you are and just won’t admit it’, I mention this verse. I really have no fear.
Great channel, I really enjoy how clean your channel is. I also appreciate how open you guys are with your faith walk. You both are such a blessing and breath of fresh air. Blessings and thanks for sharing
@Unwrapasmile Comments like this mean so much to us. We are truly thankful that there are people out there who appreciate family-friendly, God-honoring content. Thank you for taking the time to let us know that you appreciate it.
Gosh, where to start. Well I watch a lot of different videos which causes certain videos to just pop up like yours did. So I watch it from beginning to end, sometimes smiling and wanting to say something. It gets to the end and I subscribe because you are genuine and down to earth. With that being said some of these questions hit home for me with my son. My son has a platform as "The Cajun Ninja". He has 194k followers on You Tube and 1.2 million followers on Facebook. He teaches Martial Arts, loves his family, and loves to cook. I remember about 10 years ago before all this took off he did a Chicken Sausage Gumbo video and just put it out there not thinking much about it. As of this day I think it has over 30 million views world wide. So he started his own channel and it just grew over time. He has a Cookbook which has sold over 50k copies, his own "PIYAHHHHH" Seasoning, Fish Fry, and Seafood Boil Seasoning in many grocery stores. The one thing he has always done is stay true to who he is. You will get many positive comments but there will sometimes be a negative one or two. So you stay who you are and true followers will always be there. I simply love your channel. Great Video! "The Cajun Ninja's Dad"
Wow, thank you so much for those kind words. Yes, we get overwhelmingly positive feedback, but every now and then, there's that handful of people who are miserable. We will continue to stay true to who we are, and thank you for the reminder. And also, congratulations to your son on his immensely successful RU-vid channel. That's great. We wish him the best.
Well, there may be a part 2 at some point, if we get enough questions. So far, those are the ones we've gotten, that are nice and respectful. But yes, we would be open to doing a part 2 when we get another list. These are pretty much just the ones that we got during the live stream the other night, plus a few others that people have asked in the comments. Tell Ginger thanks for the compliment. We basically showed the only part of our yard that wasn't cluttered and that we weren't ashamed for people to see....LOL.
I am a recent subscriber. You answered all the personal questions I had been wondering about, children, work, age difference. You two remind me of my late husband and myself. Enjoy your videos and the way you relate to each other. Thank you for being so open. Appreciate your honesty.
Sorry I’m commenting so late, but JUST NOW watching this Q&A . JUST wanted to tell you both how proud I am, that y’all don’t refrain from answering a question about GODS word . Having a RU-vid channel gives you an opportunity to spread the gospel, and DOING JUST THAT is a blessing to see !!! I pray this channel reaches at LEAST 1 that really needs to hear about our Lord Jesus Christ, and turns their lives to him, that they also will be born again. Keep on keeping on with this great channel, and we look forward to seeing you again on the NORTH side of the Grand Strand, in the near future.
Amen to that! That is our prayer, that this channel will be used of God, to reach those who do not yet know Him. We feel that as long as we keep Him first and glorify Him, that He can bless and use this channel for His glory. Thank you so much for your kind and encouraging comments!
Yes, we are aware of RV rentals. We just never have really decided to do that yet. Maybe sometime. Like I mentioned, I prefer tent camping. And RVs are just so expensive to operate, with the price of fuel. Otherwise, they are very nice.
I really enjoyed this video. I appreciate you two so, so much. I love that you are always interesting, positive, stand for the gospel and don’t tolerate the ugly actions and words. May God continue to bless you and your family.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing your faith with us!!! I asked about a week ago if you both could include more prayers/verses in your videos, and my heart is so happy right now. Thank you! Spread The Word. Amen!
Wow, we have the same favorite bible verses, can't wait to be with the Lord and with my loved ones that I miss so much! Love your back yard, your flowers are very pretty!
We appreciate all your videos. We live here in Brunswick county and have never been to Boulineas in Cherry Grove until watching one of your videos. Today we finally made that trip down there! Thanks again...we enjoyed it..had the fried chicken...yum yum!
Thank you for letting us know that. We are glad you enjoyed your trip down to Bolineau's. We believe it is a one-of-a-kind store. And glad you enjoyed the chicken.
I heard if you want to clean your pool without harsh chemicals go to lowes and get some copper fittings. 2 or 3 and put it in the filter box. Copper naturally cleans water.
Congratulations on 55 years of marriage! That's quite an accomplishment. Thank you so much for watching, and for letting us know you enjoy the channel.
Most trips. If our son is available to watch them, we will leave them with him for a short weekend trip. But they are generally with us, since he has moved an hour and a half away.
Loved the live talk I laughed so much on the hiking pool incidents, and how you.two laugh about them. Enjoy the life God has blessed you with. God bless and safe travels.
Thank you! LOL...We only showed the part that looked neat. Not a bad idea, about the rings. I have not worn anything around my neck in decades. Congrats to you both on 46 years!
Psalm 91 is one of my favorite passages of scripture also, Donny always says he has inner gps, I do not so I said God knew I needed his inner gps because I get lost too easily, enjoy your birthday trip Derrick
Thank you for that. The person's RU-vid channel name is "Shady Lang", and they really were vicious to Smoky Mountain Faith, Food, and Fun here recently, and they are also very hateful to Yankee In The South. They made videos about both channels, and this individual has a very vulgar mouth. When they showed up in our livestream, I knew they were there to troll and start something. I wasn't going to let that individual start their vulgarity on our channel.
Watching this video, makes me feel like ya'll are friends I've known my whole life. Me and Alexander always look forward to yalls new adventures, but this was a nice video. We love what yall are doing, keep up the good work! Maybe one day we will cross paths.
That would be great. If you ever happen to see us out and about, please come up and say "hello". Thank you so much for watching, and for your kind words.
Thank you for all your hard work you two put in giving us the enjoyment of coming along on your adventures. I usually watch y’all as I am cross stitching and must say my mouth is watering on the restaurant reviews. Living the life right outside NMB so those videos have giving me a lot of new food choice, been to Platts numerous times for fresh seafood but now will try their prepared meals👍, probably next week as I am going to be a golf widow🤣. Twofer no cooking and good seafood👏👏👏. I have a few suggestions for the next time you are in Myrtle, THE BEST BURGER is at Bruiser’s Burger in Surfside, but do not go unless you are hungry as they are 1/2 lb burgers and fresh cut fries, will knock your tastebuds out👍. Small place, so we go off hours 2-3, closed on Sundays and Mondays. Cooper’s in Little River, little loud during peak hours but excellent food, the deep fried mac n cheese will blow you away and the burgers are excellent too. Gio’s, dinner only, Italian and mouth watering and Flamingo Grill, dinner only, their prime rib is spectacular. These two are in MB on business (or old 17 as I call it) 17. Ok now I have made myself hangry🤔😳🤣 Hope y’all have a great summer and looking forward to many more adventures with you two.😍
Thank you so much for the suggestions. And if you try any of the places in our reviews, please let us know what you think of them. We really appreciate your kind comment. Thank you.
Hi we enjoyed this video! We were just in Cherokee june 10-12 first time. Beautiful. The stories of you hiking made me laugh. We hiked Mingo Falls and i had problems with my calf muscles hurting for days😂 We went to BJs on your recommendation and had the double hamburger and the onion rings. They were SO good! We live in small town in NC
It's very similar to ice cream or frozen yogurt. That's about the best way I know to describe it. Maybe a little softer than ice cream, but still very flavorful. Thanks for your kind words.
Loved this video. I love St. Augustine to. I'm sorry to hear about your wife having that problem with her hand 😢 There's nothing wrong with not wearing wedding rings. Like you said, you know you are married 😊
I did not, but both of our sons were in the Army. And I have mentioned about my first cousin being a former Navy Seal and Army Delta Force, and capturing Saddam Hussein. You can search on RU-vid, "Kevin Holland Testimony".
@@NCMemoryMakers I was an Army Medic. My unit carried out the mission to capture Noriega in Panama. It was a very light "combat" theatre, but my unit had a few casualties, and I treated a few Panamanian casualties. God bless your sons and your cousin for their service!!
Tried to research this by looking at our analytics. Unfortunately, it does not give us the breakdown by states in the US. I know we have lots of subscribers from NC, but we have also had numerous ones from Alabama to come up to us when we're in Gatlinburg. We also know of several in Louisiana, California, Florida, and most states, in fact. We just don't know the exact breakdown. As for countries, we do have a list of those in the analytics section...The US has the most, by far. But we also have Canada, UK, Brazil, Australia, Mexico, India, Germany, Philippines, Austria, and Ireland. We had a viewer in a livestream once, tell us they were watching from Greenland. That country is not listed, for some reason.
Yes, theirs is very nice. I've actually seen it on the outside in person, but haven't been inside. But I've seen their videos, and it looks like a lot of fun.
We have an advocate with the Father. He sits at the right hand of the Father interceding for us. 7 and a half years is nothing but you don't age as well as your wife. 😂
Derrick, Brenda and I have watched every video but only once so the other person has topped us for sure. I'm not a youtube creator so talk this with a grain of salt. But as I understand RU-vid likes one video per day. So my advice is when you go on weekend trips. Say you film 5 videos. It might be better to release one per day. It's my understanding it helps the algorithm..Not trying to tell you how to run the channel. Just a suggestion. And anyway however you release the videos. Brenda and I will always watch them.
I'm honestly not sure how the algorithm works, to be honest. I did this tonight, because I promised the owner I would try to get this video up as soon as possible. The special he was running was for Father's Day weekend, and I was hoping that perhaps somebody would see this video and decide to go there tomorrow afternoon while it was still going on. That's why I went ahead and pushed to get this one up. I usually try to get restaurant reviews up quickly, because most of them are done with the phone, and it's a pretty quick and easy process. As opposed to our nature or outside videos, which are done with a better camera. We do appreciate you watching all of our videos.
