We're working hard behind the scenes to get all of the material together to put our roof on! In this video I reference us getting it on by end of June and that's looking to probably be the middle of July now! Ok I'm now to your channel.. awesome fellow dog groomer who also loves to live in the woods. I was in wv mountains but had to up move to FL to take care of my in-laws. Wow to kewl. I had your channel pop up on your video about moving your stuff off your inlaws land. I did have awful family that was toxic like that and best thing I ever did was wash my hands of them. Outta sight outta mind. Now it nothing but happy for me I'm told old for bs.. I hope wish y'all the best..

We don't like the hot weather when you feel like a melting ice cream cone. Fall is the favorite, but gotta get projects done when it's above 50 while we can.

a guy in canada bought land and making a log cabin with round cut logs ( well he doing this mainly alone he stays in a hot tent nights on the land) threw winter too! by fall he hoping it will be livable in the guest cabin making a smaller cabin first then the bigger main cabin later on! he make a place to cook out side the cabin too! & a bathing room too! like shawn james did! shawn cabin made a other way! with logs tho the guy in tent big end & small ends meeting right to spike or drill rods in the logs to hold them in place then just setting in each other! too! ok shawn had a pre cut wood block's made a mini cabin put together in like a month to live in and cook well he built a bigger cabin! so winter did not stop him!

If i remember right you guys get water from a spring. I was curious if you guys ever considered doing a sandpoint well? We got some acres near lincoln maine and im going to try doing a shallow sandpoint well out there so we can have on demand water.

I’ve suffered in Florida for the last 25 years. This heat and humidity is no fun. Heading up to Maine with my wife and youngest to look at property to retire on and can’t wait to feel the “miserable” mid August heat there 😊

You don’t hear of people coming from Florida to Maine to retire, that’s usually the other way around 😅 I was in Ft. Lauderdale a month ago and it was 95-100 the whole time so I’ll give you that.. but we’re use to -40° windchills.. it’s going to be 91 today and 95 tomorrow here.. 🥵

@@AGirlFromMaine HAHA yeah but ill take -40 wind chill during winter storms.. over 90+ and humid 8ish months a year! plus thre are just WAY too many people down here these days. Im definitely and off grid/WAY out there type of person. Grew up that way and really miss it! Just booked the flights/house/car rental so will be roaming The County in mid August with my wife and youngest looking for property to homestead on :)

❤ Hello from Michigan . When will you get your wind generator for night time charging + plus run mini spilt 24-7 heat or ac super quiet like solar panels but more power then you need . So when ? Smart to burn wood once it's closed up. That'll dry things out nicely over the winter, and whatever product you use will permeate the logs better. Who's doing your windows, Paradigm?

It was interesting to watch how you answered the questions. It’s a small world, I personally use to live in norridgewock, and my aunt just retired a couple years ago from being a teacher for over 30 years in norridgewock and my uncle over thirty years as a teacher in skowhegan high school, I also have friends and family who live in and own businesses in Fairfield/benton I wish there was a way to chat with you guys to see if you know each others lol

It is a small world! I was born in Skowhegan, raised in Norridgewock! Went to Norridgewock Central Grade School and was the first 6th grade class in the new school! Keenan went to Lawrence and was a Fairfield crony growing up. My whole family is from Norridgewock/Madison great grandparents down to my parents went to Skowhegan High School or Madison!

@@AGirlFromMaine do you know Janine Leach teacher in norridgewock, Dana Leach teacher in skowhegan and Madison, the house I used to live in was torn down but it was between the small Irving gas station and the church. My family still lives in Madison. My uncle Jewel was the custodian of Madison high school when it burned, he lived across the street from the school the house was torn down when he died and the bank put a ATM machine where the house was. They also had the ice cream shop in Madison on the corner across from where Taylor drug store was. My cousin owned Taylor Drug Store, Michelle LeBlanc , Travis Leachs is her brother. They still live in Madison. Small world 😎

@@AGirlFromMaine the house I grew up in was torn down, but it was the big white house between the Irving station and the church. It is just a cement pad now with a gas tank on it, my father was the last full time police officer norridgewock had before going to the county, my mom was the last dispatcher for norridgewock police and fire department, and the police department and two jail cells were downstairs in the town office. 😅

@@mikewarren9440 Mrs. Leach was a 3rd grade teacher I believe, I had Mrs. Crowley and they shared a door to each other rooms if I’m remembering correctly, I believe my brother had her as a teacher though! My grandmother lived in the small white house across from the bank and my mom actually worked as a teller at the bank while I was in elementary school. I use to walk over to the small store and get snacks all the time, along with Harry Yorks Market. My mother’s family are all the Everett’s of Norridgewock and my fathers are Trial’s of Madison, very small world.
