The “being intimidating” part feels so close to me because I have always struggled with that also but at the end of the day you have to realize that you can’t control what everyone thinks about you although it’s very sad hearing especially if you try hard to always make the person across you feel comfortable

I think people would assume you're mean or intimidating based on the fact that you don't tolerate BS from people. Like (from what we see on stream) if anyone makes remarks to you that are out of pocket, you'll never keep quiet about it, which is a good thing. Always stand on bidness!

I've never once gotten the impression of Jodi being cold. She's always seemed like a silly goofy gworl to me. Just an adorable goofball.

What i enjoy about Jodi the most is her bluntness i can relate to it.

i remember being on tumblr in middle school and seeing all the "thinspo" images and that shit really screwed up my body image. It's definitely gotten better but it's still something that impacts me to this day. I'm glad you talked about body image; it gives me hope that I can learn to love myself more. It's also nice to know that I'm not the only one struggling. 2024 will be the year of radical self-acceptance!!

after watching scarra say you are smart but dumb as f***, hearing you vocalize your emotional intelligence in this video is very.... satisfying? you truly are such an interesting person to be put in the spotlight. the things you say make you very relatable, and trying to imagine myself in your position is incredibly difficult to do. a sort of parasocial conundrum i guess. really enjoy this type of content, especially from you jodi. feels like a talk with the big sister i never had.

honestly ppl saw like one clip about jodi talking about deathmatch in valo or something actually annoying and just assumed she was mean or cold. it just seems like she has real emotions

The intimidating bit I couldn’t put my finger on it but I kinda saw it - then you showed the multiple fae comments & it clicked, ethereal - that’s it it’s not intimidation it’s a kind of awe

So the intimidation thing is interesting. A lot of it I feel is down to vibe and energy. You come off as a very vibrant and expressive energy. This is something many shy or reserved people desire, and can be scary for them to become. So if they see someone exert that type of energy, yes people can envy that but also fear it. In addition, jerks and bullies often exert confidence and express themselves a lot. So even though an assertive confident energy like yours is kind, it may intimidate or scare people anyways. Personally I dig it. I love when people express themselves and arent afraid to speak there minds. But I suppose that is to each there own. Side note, my little cousin watches you often and is inspired by you all the time. So thanks for being a positive influence to her and in general. More power to ya 💪

I think a lot of the intimidation and cold energy people get is coming from the fact that generally her face is very blank/very minimal in expression. I only say this because I relate with everything she says and I quite literally have been told I am not expressing as much as I think I am. I’m studying acting in college so I get this as like a genuine note on my work so often and I genuinely have to think about expressing more than I think is normal. Could also be my adhd and whatnot. But still! I really relate to what Jodi said because it’s something I’m told all the time in my academic/professional space! And I’m very much a softie when it comes to my personal life.

This style of video, just the camera, Jodi, and nothing else is so calming. Love you, Jodi! Keep up the amazing work.

I find interesting that ppl find you cold or intimidating because my first impression of you (and stream) was that you were very genuine, like you express your emotions and thoughts in a very honest way, and that makes you relatable! unfortunately i do think that a lot of times it was more "socially acceptable" to deny femininity than to grow with it in high school, and personally, i grew to resent a lot of "girly" things because i just wanted to be liked (not necessarily by guys, but anyone). watching you as a young adult has really helped me to grow more confident and explore and appreciate my feminine side so i truly thank you for that :")

As someone who’s been through a lot and has gone to a lot of therapy and started to study psychology to try and rewire my brain out of severe depression and succeeded, you just honestly have what I felt at first where people that go to therapy and can like admit problems and ask for help, you’ve gotten more emotional intelligence than most people and it’s hard to think sometimes of how some people just think so much of others perspectives, people saying this stuff about how they think you were popular in high school and stuff is most likely people making assumptions cause you’re really attractive and your personality is really cool, which is a complement, I respect your personality which is why I clicked on this vid, but most people will make assumptions but like you said earlier it’s truly on them, you prob won’t even read this but I also respect you enough to take the time to type it out just for the .1% chance you see this cause I think you’ll enjoy reading this, but keep being you because your a real person and are inspiring people

Jodi, I met you just last month at the DSG Manila fan meet up event. I was in the last row of group 2 so I was at the very end, so around 10pm ish. You had 20 seconds to make an impression on me and you were GREAT! Bubbly, warm, 10/10 smile, just exactly how you come off in your videos. The surprising thing was probably the attentiveness. You were actively listening, present and cared. You laughed at my jokes! And that was at 10pm! 🤯 Those other people don't know what they're talking about. They probably have problems they're just projecting onto you. 🙏

I am beginning to see how Jodi is vs how generally most perceived her better. A misunderstood blunt streamer who gave vibes that rubbed viewers to believe that she is anything but that. Personally, i think she is just bluntly honest that's embedded in her personality. I have always struggled with my body but was terrified to gain a ED because my friend had one, so instead when I got out of high school I started focusing on what i was putting in my body and trying to make or find better alternatives and just create a healthier lifestyle for myself.

When I was first introduced to you via OTV, I was super thrown off by you - intimidating, yes. Clearer descriptors would be intense and direct, yet still very comfortable with your own energy. You are so gorgeous and are so forward about feelings and boundaries, which are all things I struggle with lol. You also have a sense of humor that can come off as brutal when coming from a woman - which yes is stupid af but internalized misogyny is a bitch. When I realized that the things that put me off were the things I was upset at myself for, shit switched up REAL fast.
