Hi violet, I was not knowing one drug and I was checking in the tab it was not opening at all so I informed the patient I won’t give ur one drug coz I don’t know the action of the drug.And I verbalised I will give ur drug after checking bnf and I also handed over in evaluation tat I didn’t give one drug coz I was unsure of the action of the drug.is this a failure point in implementation for not administering the drug?

Violet, am scared. I did everything but I did not escalate with my prescriber for penicillin. The patient was allergic, I coded and wrote at the back on omitted doses but forgot to escalate with prescriber. Have I failed, I am scared.
