You’ve given us a lot of absolutely top tier content this summer, but I think this is the most refreshing change of pace :) I loved hearing how you’re doing!
Meg, you are a "RU-vid CREATOR" and you do help others with their journey in horsemanship. That is what you are. And we ALL enjoy your videos greatly, so please continue doing YOU!!! Thanks for being you always!!! From a Retired Paramedic and an FEI Level Coach and Horse Trainer in Ontario, Canada, Jenn. 💖 💖 🇨🇦 🇬🇧🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Here's another Canadian from Ontario saying the same thing. When I originally found your channel as I was scrolling on by what made me stop and watch? You! What makes me come back and continue watching? You! It doesn't hurt that you have lovely ponies but really your loveable personality is what draws me back. Please continue to just be yourself and show us your equestrian journey because it's been an absolute blast so far.
This is why you are so popular Meg. Honestly answering personal questions with humour and gumption. ( Having lovely ponies, and Hobbit and Pete helps too!) 🤗👏.
Thanks Meg, very brave of you to answer so many personal questions. I think your ponies are priceless. And I think Pete is a star. He always seems so supportive for you thanks xx
Great job handling the income questions Meg . In fact usually it's considered rude to ask someone about their money . But RU-vid marketing is relatively new and your take on it was educational. Lovely you opening up some for your subscibers. Enjoyed. Stay safe. 💙🐎😎
I have always thought it Weird, that we dont talk about income more. Especially women. And especially with colleagues, because thats how our pay keeps being less than mens in most cases. Because if you do not know what to ask for in regards to what others in your field make then we wont ask for the same and end up with less.c
I love you so much Meg! I’m in England rn and I’m sweating like mad🥵🥵 Don’t worry about not making videos! Don’t pressure yourself! So excited for this, love youuu❤️❤️❤️🐴🐴🐴
Thank you for your candid responses. I'm not really interested in how much money you make - that's not my business! - but I would LOVE to know how RU-vid works! What difference does Liking, Subscribing and simply Viewing a video make? I've always been curious. Love seeing Ari in the background, although he vanished at the end?
Loved the honesty (and of course your content in general) in this video! You seem like you have settled with in your self this past year or so - it’s been wonderful to witness 🥰 Keep up the good work. I’m cheering for you and Peter! I dream of having a boyfriend this supportive of my hobbies and working career ✨
Great video! You definitely didn't dodge the questions like many other youtubers do with these types of videos, they tend to be just clickbait and a waste of time. Props to you! I personally think you are a fantastic creator and love your content.
Great video to get a little insight in your life. Recently, I had to sell my horses so I am horseless for the first time in decades. Since then I have stopped watching a lot of the horse video channels but I have stuck with your channel as your videos are just too awesome!! Thank you for all you do!
I have never understood why some people insist on being nasty and leaving negative comments. RU-vid videos are loaded and we can watch them if we want to watch them. If people don't like videos the answer is simple, they should just not watch them. And I agree I think all your horses are worth a million pounds each at the very least.
Han sounds like an amazing friend haha pretending for so long! Oh no, we’ll now the truth is out! About the relationship- it shocked me! It’d seem like 5-6 years is the common for relationships to stop… had a somewhat similar situation! So glad to see you’ve found someone to make you smile and isn’t a red flag! 💚🏳️Green flags all the way! 🏳️💚 Seems a lovely chap :) when’s he getting his own horse? 😂💖
You have been very open with your answers so thank you for sharing. I love watching your videos as you are a very engaging person so even when uou are mucking out it's fun 😉 I hope your career continues to grow you deserve it xx
Wow thank you so much for the candid answers to our burning questions! I'm so very glad that your relationship with Pete is progressing... wish we got to see more of him! I sincerely hope that you, and your girlies, are able to keep making videos for a long time to come. I just love watching you! 💗
Loved the video Meg, it reinforces how down to earth and honest you are and why we all love you! You answered them all really well, just enough but not too much that you’ve spilled everything. A girls got to keep some secrets especially when everything you do is shown online 🧡
Hey Meg, I saw on your Instagram that you had a video of Jammy jumping 1.20 for the first time. You said it would be out last week in your post I believe. Just wondering if it will be out anytime soon? x
Blimey! This is one of the most open and honest Q&A vlogs I have ever seen! Firstly - Pete's d'man then! Secondly - Han is still, and I imagine, will always be your bestie - she has your back over the ponies/horses, the relationship between you and your parents and she brings so much to your mutual friendship. HAN - chief bridesmaid will be your next most important role! Thirdly - for me - DORA IS FOR SALE!! I said I would be interested in her from your first vlog about her - her arrival from Ireland and the gently hacking her around the Warwickshire lanes & tracks - you were just so happy on her and the way you were talking about her - I fell for her then and there! Bear's a keeper and so are Jam and Dee Dee for now - to keep one ticking over at 100 and the other aimed for Novice / 2*. Then the two babies - Ari & Whinie are enough for any one rider. I guess the next Irish will be to replace DeeDee when she goes into retirement? I'd love to be at that sale in Ireland with you. Do you go to the Welsh sales too? Thanks for your time and honesty Meg. I love the person you are becoming with ALL the right people, horses/ponies and not forgetting the cats in your life. xOx
I’m sorry, I love the sun but it’s boiling! And people aren’t allowed to laugh because we don’t get any in between! We go straight from winter to summer and then back again!
This was a very honest vlog Meg that you chose to do which is very good of you as it is rather private things in your life that some subs have asked. I since day one have thought and still do that you are a lovely honest and extremely funny girl. Then when you let us meet Pete I thought now he’s a keeper you both bounce off each other and there’s sparkle in both your eyes when your together. Hope to see lovely Hannah again soon.Good luck 🍀 with everything you do with your life. Tfs😎🏇😎
You are meant to be in front of a camera, great personality, funny, interesting, pretty etc. Negative comments are not worth your time, don't bother looking! Keep going Meg, always enjoy your videos.... btw You and Pete play off each other perfectly... Love to see him in them also!
Really enjoyed this! How you focus on filming and tack cleaning I do not know though. I have tried to watch tv and clean but I never have any idea what’s happening because cleaning takes all my brain power!
literally you and pete met around the same time as me and my partner (today is our one year) we also met on Hinge and also spent heaps of time walking round together since we were in lockdown.
Well done Meg! You make the effort to put on your vlogs, I'm not a fan of 10 second videos, they can be fun when the people you follow regularly post 20+ mins vlogs, but it's no substitute for a vlog and somewhat disappointing. Love following your journey, you are so inspiring.
Meg I have supported you from the beginning-love you and your family equine and human kitties pup -I am the astrologer lady-I am Sag too I have brother(s) (3) who has your birthday-I have 3 horses 10 cats-rescued and most gorgeous Husky malamute wolf- Sky a girl-----so happy for you and like you LOVE Love Love Horses-God Bless to you Pete your Mum and family and Animals Debra
The secret to handling heat is to allow the horse to acclimatize, it is harder on them to come out of a cool place into the heat. Better to let them to get used to it. They do deal with it quite well. Yes, they do enjoy a hose down on the really hot day but don't need to if they have shade. Better under a cool shady tree than in a building. If you have a paddock with a dam or a water course, they will keep themselves cool and give a good indication of what they can cope with because they will only go in when they need to cool down. I hope this helps. On another note, in relation to negative comments, in trying to give helpful insight I have met these negative comments to, and sometimes I wonder if these people even have animals because their criticism makes no sense in the real world, and most would be better suited to a work of fiction. I think we call them 'armchair experts'. I only ever pass on my actual experience as apposed to something found in a book.
Your q & a was loads of fun. Now I am worried about the heat. Stay cool, and help your ponies any way you can. Eventing this summer might not be a good idea for now.
I haven't had time to watch this vid as still stuck on meetings just browsing YT as I am..... but the wedding shot on this thumbnail is going to scare pete's eats off meg 🤣
Such a fun vlog, and in the US you couldn't tuch Jam for under 90k. Horse's are crazy here and she is such an established mare people would pay big for her.
That is so crazy to me. I personally thought our horse market here in Germany is crazy but that is literally insane. I was thinking that 30k is priced high, I do understand her value it's just our market being a bit calmer and the price would be wayy lower. I am currently riding an (I think intermediate? In Germany it's "L") dressage horse that is going to be sold between 25-40k. I am also currently riding a horse that has been well established in 110 showjumping that has been sold for 7k. :)
@@aly1490 wow, My friend just bought a pretty green event horse for 40k. It's a gray and color matters here. I mean I'll take my Bays over anything all day but grays will cost way more. 🤣
@@lemmebeawinnerequestrian7555 oh wow, I just did a quick search and literally found horses being placed in Novice/BE 100 (I'm not entirely sure because our competition system is diffrent, it would be "A" here) all being priced around 20k. I don't think coat color matters as much but I'm not entirely sure. I think palominos etc. do fetch a slightly higher price but I don't think it's that much of a difference. :) I also love my bays/chestnuts and as a daughter of veterinarians I would never ever buy a grey. 😅
@@aly1490 an established 110 jumper would be in the high mid five figures in the states lol. Something that was established and easy enough to ride that could go around 120 to 130 would high five figures. Heck unbroken welsh hunter ponies in the states are going for 20-40k depending on size and bloodlines 😭
@@aly1490 to be fair. A lot of danes import horses from Germany because they have contacts there and sell them for the double here. 🤣🤣 or the import from The Netherlands. Mostly in jumping because you have good ones. Jammy being so small, and technically over the pony height would be about 10.000 € on a good day. If she was 148 cm she would be way more. But we also do not have that crazy of a market for event horses as we dont really have that many doing it. But as a show jumper pony jammy would be pretty pricey.
Aww meg you been amazing we really appreciate your content sharing your beutiful fur babies and life your a inspiration forget sad prople who have nothing better to do than bully x
Meg that was so great. Your happiness has been so pleasing to watch. It was obvious to me. Thank you for sharing all your deep, dark secrets!,😅. I’ll be with you all the way! There really is so much to look forward to in this next year. I can’t wait.
I love every single video and try to catch them all. You are just the most genuine and nice person on you tube so I’m very pleased you are doing so well.
My boyfriend broke up with me about 11 months ago and it’s starting to get much better but we needed to break up. It was 2 weeks after my birthday but he didn’t wish me happy birthday so I new that we need to break up
I just wonder what the actual profit is once you consider the cost for you to feed, train , vet bills etc for the years after you buy the horse right up to you sell it.
Your past long relationship vs Pete now remind me of my past 5 Yr relationship and my one now. I met my now husband on Tinder 🙈 dating app wins hehe. Go us ❤️
Its crazy how expensive horses can be, i remember one that had done absolutely nothing, 4 years old, and went for 8grand. No tack came with her.. While my cobs actual owner(I have him on loan) got him for 1 quid lol
That’s because cobs often have little to no breeding, very very common and not everyone wants a cob especially if they want to event or showjumping to a higher level
@@harric9864 ive seen cobs go for thousands, and he was actually thought out, lovely movement ect, mainly because he's a proper traditional kind of cob. So £1 is a steal..
Okay, I won't laugh but... it's routinely 38-40c here during the day. 🤣 Okay, I'm laughing! It's all about what you're accustomed to! Stay cool, Meg! 😉 Also, I love that Ace gets to feature in this one!
Thank you for sharing, Meg! I also got out of an unhealthy relationship and found someone that just highlights what a healthy relationship should be... I'm happy for you!
