**Question** Grammie has a superpowers... baking and time management. What are the other talents do your family members have? Music, needlework, comedy, building things, etc
I'm Grammie's age and we didn't learn to cook using recipes. It came down from our Grandmother's using your eyes and by feel. I have been trying to put favorite recipes on cards, but it's very time consuming.
I hear what you're saying. 😀 I tried to get a recipe from Hubby's Aunt Ursula one time. I asked how long to bake it and she said, " until it's done... you'll smell it when it's ready".

I missed leaving a question. I live in western Canada Daniel, it is a beautiful piece of geography. Daniel you are the sensitive brother. You may not think so but i used to have a brother like you, he is missed. You have an amazing family, remember that my young friend.
Gavin seems older than 19, LOL. I have stopped at the farm a couple years ago and meet ant Becky she was such a nice person. You ALL are amazing at what you do as a family. NOW don't let this go to your head Daniel and don tell the rest of your family but my wife and I think you're the brains of the operation. everyone is very talented at what you all do but you seem to be the go to person for lots of what goes on at the farm. you're like me, jack of all trades. Thats just how we see it and we have been watching you all for years. LOL Tell all your family we love all the channels.

Been to Melbourne, FL, and stayed right on the Beach in a High Rise Condo. Very Centrally located to ALL the Touristy Locations around that part of Florida.👍
You two make a wonderful couple. Love watching your videos. My mother made some awesome meals. After she died, my sisters scrambled to find her recipes. When they tried to make a couple of her favorite meals, it was not the same. Make sure Gramma's recipes are written down. Thanks
I'd love it if the two of you made an actual physical cookbook of Grammies recipes. You could put her comments and tips along with comments from both of you. And lots of pictures! I'd buy a couple copies of it at least. Probably more for gifts.
It would probably take years. Grammy is a working machine. It's in her blood. And anyone will be exhausted just trying to keep with her and her schedule. You would have to put cameras everywhere to catch her doing her recipes. Do an family cookbook. Get your family to put in recipes of what they are famous for. I heard Lauren Enchiladas are a family favorite. Every family has a favorite recipe they bring to family get together. Maybe also incorporate some canning recipes in the cookbook. My sister is always calling me for recipes I learned from my mom and neighbors. I will even send your some if you want. Good idea on that one someone..
@@turtlerose4718 why would it take years? You gather the recipes, and do one or two a week to fine tune it. That's over 100 recipes in one year. Plus they've already done some. Why would they have to put cameras on her? You simply take a picture whenever she cooks anything and use it, or better yet, go back through Andrew's videos and just take stills out of the different things she's already baked. Simple. People have written entire huge cookbooks from scratch in a year or less. They already have the recipes, they just need tweaked. Or with baking season coming up, have one person watch Grammy as she makes pie crusts and write down or get on video what goes in it. That one recipe for pie crusts can cover multiple recipes. Take one day and write down or record what she puts in each of her pie fillings. One day to write down or record what she puts in each cake. All of this is even easier and faster than having to go through each recipe and tweaking it. Same thing when she makes cookies, soups, etc. One day of getting on video what she bakes on each of those big baking days they talked about would fill an entire cookbook of baking recipes. They could even use one of those "Make a family cookbook" sites to make a "Grammy's Best Baked Goods" or whatever title cookbook and take pre-orders so they'd know how many to have printed. They could even have extras printed to sell in their store or online if they wanted.

We visited the Canadian side of the falls a decade ago or so, flew in through Buffalo and got rent car, we could not believe how run down the American side was. So glad to hear y’all are crossing the border, you’ll love it!
Sadie, it's good to know you read the comments. It would be fun to see you and Daniel recreate some of the yumminess Grammy makes and bring it to her house for everyone to try on Sundays. It would be good to see everyone again there, too. I miss Andy and Lauren eating at Grammy's every evening. I've always thought Gavin was older than that, too. I looked older than I was when I was young, and then, around 33 or so, I passed myself up. Thankfully, I don't look my age. *whew*

That was lovely. I would like to see a timelapse of one of those crazy baking days. Like the cookies and pies for thanksgiving and christmas. I love those how it’s made and seeing vegitation and food in abundance and I love how you all work so well together. So I would love to see the frenzy of a baking day come together. Cause we have seen a few after all the hard work is done and we see the lovely treats.
I’ve been wondering, where in FL everyone goes and you finally said it and I was surprised. I’m originally from FL too and we moved from Vero Beach after 50 years. Was telling my friend a few days ago that Sebastian Inlet and Lake Okeechobee was what I really missed. Some like to drive tractors and some like to fish 😂
Loved the video & that y'all do different kinds of videos. For Grammy's cookbook, you can do Grammy's way (meaning original recipe) and the other way/ more precise for 1-2 pies or whatever, because there maybe someone out there that cooks like she does & knows what to adjust? I'm just enjoying you guy's making her recipes. Maybe when it's time to do the horseradish you can do that including the canning part. Keep up the tasty food 😊

I quite enjoyed this sit down. I am an American, whose family is from Avis, PA, still living in Ontario, Canada and lived n worked in Toronto for 30 years, retired now. You won't hear this on the news but the crime in Toronto has increased over 500% in the last year and homelessness is at an all time high with high drug use. Especially in the downtown core. Tell them to put on the full armor of God while being out n about in the city. It is beautiful! Niagara Falls is a fun place! Enjoy!! 🕊❤
That's a shame to hear about Toronto . I love Canada, Use to visit the Toronto area every third year. (Wonderland). Took my son, Mom, niece to an Amusement Park once a year. One year Cedar Point,( Sea World when is was in Ohio) One year. Then Canada,( Wonderland) Toronto. Then third year Wonderland. A few trips to Disney World. But I loved Canada the most. (Plus the exchange rate were fantastic) One time My Mom and I took all 9 of her grandkids to Wonderland. Great picture of that. Thank God, some of my the parents went also. Imagine watching that many kids at once. Camping a week ! The campground we camped at had a swimming pool. Thank God! We visit museums. Niagara Falls. Took the boat. Went into caves. We did a lot that week. Love Canada.😊
The crime rates in most American cities have skyrocketed also......current political regimes are at fault in Canada and America! And Canada's inflation rates are as bad as USA's! But you are right in putting on the whole Armour of God!
Daniel and Sadie, I think your mom and Joel’s mom seem pretty neat. Our kids ages are in the same area as your family. My question is about the moms. Do they ever just go out into the farm vegetable fields or fruit trees and just pick whatever they need for the week ahead? Do they use the store or send a child..or husband to get their fruits or vegetables? (Wearing my rose colored glasses.)
