I loved this sit down Q&A! I also love how you explained that you and Mel are in this season of life, that’s such a mature way of viewing it. One thing I’m afraid of is losing that with my partner if we had children, but viewing it in the way you explained, really makes so much more sense and gives me hope if we were to go down that path. I love how mature you are & I think you and Mel have such a strong, stable foundation & y’all are doing such a good job raising your beautiful children. They are so lucky to have y’all as parents. It's great to see a sit-down video at last. Many of your followers are in the same age group as you and don't have children yet, so the "day in the life of a mom" videos can become a bit repetitive and less relatable for us. I understand that your life has changed, but we really appreciate videos like this. We would love to see more of Naz!

Naz as PhD student that's about to defend my thesis this month, trust me you don't need the university experience lol It's like an extension of high school. At that time in your life you had a vision of what you aspired to and WENT FOR IT. And like you said, it's never too late and if you ever want to supplement with a degree later on in life you can.

Absolutely enjoyed this Q&A. I packed up and left my home town for 5 years, then moved back to raise my second child & bought a home. Honestly, if I had to do it all over again I probably wouldn’t. I truly now understand the saying, “packing up and leaving your hometown will be the best decision you ever made.” It was so easy to lose sight of my goals once I was around family again. I worked less and hung out more, trying to catch up on the years I missed.

Ah, the realest! I love how straight up you are about any and everything. I love that you mentioned how your content is your view of motherhood from your eyes and not through banking off of your children like some other creators. That’s so respectable and I think the best to go about it. Also your makeup is popping as always! You’re so lucky and blessed but also very proud of the life you’ve created for yourself. What you said was spot on, I grew up with parents that never argued or disagreed in front of us and now as a 29 year old woman I have difficulty with conflict and wanna run when I sense it almost feel like what you said “it’s not normal” it’s taken a lot of awareness and willingness on my end to have difficult conversations and come to resolution. This is how I feel with Nashville & SoCal. I lived in Nashville for 10 yrs & I was born in SoCal wasn’t raised fully because I moved back to SoCal after I turned 14 & met my husband there, had our 1st son but Covid really hit me mentally hard & we decided to pack up & move to TN where my family lived. I can hands down say this is the best decision we’ve made! There’s certain aspects I miss from living in Socal but I don’t see myself living there anymore.

7:01 I feel you on the college thing. I think I sliiiiiiightly regret not going for the experience. More the culture than the school work; if that makes sense. BUT I’m glad I don’t have student loan debt 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 and I’m in a decent career without having to go to college

I grew up in a very strict immigrant household and was very set on being a doctor and now am a therapist! I loved my college experience, but I was also someone that knew that I always wanted to go to college and new what career I wanted and I loved my college expierence! I met my best friends in college!

A little off topic, but I would love for you to do a video highlighting your culture. We see the food and family interaction (which I absolutely love) but I know there's so much more. You speaking Farsi for 24 hours would be so awesome or something highlighting your parents/grandparents and their experience growing up in their country. I would always tell my kids just because Daddy & I argue doesn’t mean we love each other Any less. We love each other very much, we just disagreed on something at that moment & we would say we were sorry to each other & our kids would see that. My husband & I just celebrated 31 years Of marriage & people would ask what’s your secret, my answer is patience, forgiveness & faith in each other, And in ourselves. Im Mexican & I grew up with my parents arguing & never finding a solution so for me I knew that’s not what I wanted because it made me grow up thinking being rude to each other meant it was love. Me & my husband don’t argue in front of our kids but my kids have seen me & my husband get into arguments with our parents individually & they do ask us why do we yell & we have learned that way to tell them that everyone has a different opinion just like me & my husband do sometimes but that doesn’t mean we don’t love each other it’s just taking that situation & explaining we will work it out versus been told to stay out of adult business like I was told growing up. Break the cycle. ❤️‍🩹

I live in north east Ohio, about an hour and 20 mins from Columbus and 50 minutes from Cleveland. Cleveland is my city of choice because it’s more grungy, not so boujee & fancy. Columbus and Cleveland just have suchhhh a different vibe. A bunch of people that I went to high school with live in Cbus now and you can just tell they’re Columbus girls by their vibe, style & pics they post. Cbus feels too fancy for me 😂 Also touching on the fighting, my parents never ever fought in front of me when I was a child. I’m 26 now so when my boyfriend and I argue I begin to question & doubt my relationship because I’m not used to it. So it’s refreshing to hear that couples do disagree and have arguments, it’s just a matter or working through them.
