Hi friend! I would suggest starting with prayer. Pray at least once everyday for at least 5 minutes and practice that discipline. Ask God for help. He hears you. Laziness can make you feel bad about yourself and you put yourself down. Don't let those thoughts get to you. I pray that God helps you regain discipline and happiness. Rejoice in him!
@liansplayground7931 no problem! As for your first question, the answer is yes: but don't worry, a lot of us struggle with unclean thoughts. Ask God for help with that too. He can help you overcome those thoughts. Ask for forgiveness and ask him to help you keep your mind and thoughts on him! I hope this helps :)
@@liansplayground7931 the Bible says when you pray do not cease… if you have been saved and given your life to the Lord, the Holy Spirit abide in you so you carry him with you wherever you go. Speak to him talk to him just like you would anybody else if something upsets you talk about it with him, if you’re struggling in an area and you need help ask for strength ask for guidance. This is how you pray without ceasing.❤
Pretty much every single sin starts with a thought, if you fantasize about doing something you know you shouldn’t, then yea it’s wrong. Usually laziness is from not having goals or a purpose. If you don’t have something you are striving for you will become lazy
It seems like Catholic prayers are specifically designed to irritate God. God: "Dont do vain repetition" Catholics: "Pray the same prayer 10 times in a row" Adding doctrines is one thing. Adding something as a practice that He specifically said not to do. How is that not thumbing your nose at God directly?
They believe their church is never wrong about anything EVER. They believe that the church can make up a doctrine that can’t be supported by any scripture. And if you manage to debunk them using the Bible they’ll just ask you how you know that your interpretation is correct. Even when it’s clearly obvious what the text is saying. They also believe that no one else can understand the Bible except those in higher authority in the Catholic Church. Being the priests and pope.( This belief is also false according to the Bible) That’s why whenver you tell them that their beliefs are unbiblical or can’t be supported by scripture, they all say the same thing. “Well the Bible doesn’t say to only follow the Bible” - which is one of the most shallow arguments against Scripture.
Your wrong, we dont pray over and over to be heard, we know God hears us. Jesus literally told us to pray without stopping. Also, the angels kept praying the same thing over and over…r they also irritating God when they say “holy holy holy”?
Not sure when you came to believe or if you’ve ever been a Christian. As a former atheist, I asked Christ for forgiveness at 32, I can tell you that I did NOT know God. You said, everyone knows there’s a God. No, i genuinely thought this was some story. I did not think about the meaning of life and my most logical explanation for what happens after death was being reborn and living a different life. I asked my mother what would happen when we’re dead and she said, nothing. So I came up with my one explanation. Althive hewrd of people believing in God, I found it foolish. It was simply not a topic. I did not not believe bc I wanted to live my one way. It was bc I had absolute no idea. It’s like, someone telling you that you don’t want to accept your third parent bc you only want to live your mom and dad. You’d say, no, I didn’t even know that there something like a third parent, let’s called in 'mad' 😅but do you see what I mean? I think you’re thinking too Christian here. I genuinely didn’t even consider God, let alone His commandments. I did not know about them. God was simply non existent for me. So no, absolutely do not agree in your comment that everyone knows God and denies Him bc they want to live their ways.
