Hello Alexander, I followed your tutorial step by step, but unfortunately I can't get the same results as yours. The billet moves but no deformation happened, I saw that the billet hit the roll but no deformation. Eventually I got simulation of the movement of the bar only. Could you help me where's the problem ? I'm using Ansys18. Thank you.
+Reimondez Mariano Check the edge that you chose for displacement boundary condition. If the speciment doesnt move then its about wrong boundary condition for displacement.
it very amazing work and its gave me the key (but now i worked on drawing the rolls and spacemen by solid work and after that make import geometry in ansys (3d i try so mush time but i fail i dont now why it happen pleses help me
Mohammad Abdawi, it really does not matter if you create geometry inside ansys or import it. I do both and use solidworks all the time. Is your geometry 3d or 2d?
