I f u want to speed the process of getting rid of the dead fungus then make it easier for the minum ants (The really small ones) to access from the brood chambers to the poop areas, dont put them near leaf storage just because it feels right. Ps Make more empires videos (like so baron can see this advice)

You want to upgrade and make a separate storage for your waste.Every time you spend cultivating fungus it turns into waste fungus,which stops your fungus storage from growing which was happening. Phorid flys are dangerous, the flies will lay parasitic eggs on your ants while they gather, upgrade your ants for less infection chance, never seen what happens when they hatch though ,I never turn it on.Leafcuttters are the complicated ant colony because they’re fungus farmers,and make giant storage rooms for waste.Also upgrading increases the rate of which waste withers away from your waste storage.

You may want to imploy a more efficient nest setup, long narrow corridors are actually terrible for defense and productivity, your ants can get stuck if there are too many ants passing at a time, and they will not be able to surround enemy bugs. Instead, it would be better to have a one-room nest as leafcutters. Make a path directley from the queem to the nest entrance, when you reach the room of the nest entrance, just expand your colony with that. It works for me.

you need to upgrade your poop shoots and place more so let your ants don't have any food problems like ant tiles with poop cause it affect the ants witch will turn to a real problem late game

you can permanently turn on healthbars and how much food something gives at the bottom right when you have the hammer icon open.
