Antenna Mast Build

The design and building of a free standing crank up antenna mast to install close to the house wall.
Standard designs have a pivot point which prevents this type of installation.
With a friend who could source the steel and another who is a superb welder all I had to do was come up with the design and hand saw and drill the parts. The pivot bolt was supplied as a Land Rover tow ball part. The winch cable is stainless steel boat rigging.
The welding and assembly was done on the garden path, the digging and concrete mixing by hand. The patio slabs were replaced after mast installation providing a very neat finish.
