I had this done April 2024. BEST gift I have EVER given my 68 year old body. I was stage 4 osteoarthritis......bone on bone. I requested my surgeon take a pic of the femoral head and he did! What a mess it was lol The nurse was surprised that I had been walking for as long as I did. Born with hip dysplasia and suffered all of my life this new hip has given me a new life! Fascinating video this is.
Thanks so much all those involved for this excellent video. I had my THR 7 weeks ago and I have finally mustered the courage to watch what happens. Truly I am in awe of you guys with what you do. It was all so well and clearly explained too.
As a patient having this done tomorrow morning, it’s left me just speechless and in awe of the skill involved in performing these surgical procedures. I’m 57 and the nerves are starting a little but I like being educated as much as I can before going into any surgery. This video is without a doubt, the best and most involved I’ve seen yet. Beyond professional! You’re putting my mind at ease more and more. Thank you♥️
@@alipaag1234 If it’s any consolation, I’m 13 wks post-op, walking around, doing household tasks, even painted my fridge Black today and have climbed the pool ladder 6 times or so together in there and do some PT! That feels sooooo good! Just saw my surgeon this past Tuesday and he was very happy! I wish you the best!
I watched your video from Turkey. God bless all our doctors. Without you, life would stop. I had surgery on April 4 due to decreased blood supply to the femoral head. ....
