it's a beautiful game right now, it makes me shiver just thinking what they could have done if they hadn't discarded it like this ... it probably would have been more successful than Destiny such a shame... I hope they'll consider taking this game back but ik thats pretty much impossible since its EA we are talking about
I played Anthem today. I actually found people to do some random missions and it felt nostalgic. Its truly shame that EA gave and BioWare gave up on it.
I know this was 2 years ago but I totally agree. This trailer was what I was expecting but I should've known better. PS4 and Xbox one couldn't handle these graphics.

In a day and age where you can animate whatever you want for marketing, we as gamers literally have to wait until the game is released to know what kind of product we are truly getting for better or worse because we are constantly lied to.
i hate when game previews have obvious voice actors talking over gameplay pretending like they're playing the game in real time. its so cheap and no gamer ever actually talks like they do.
I was blown away by this trailer, it looked and sounded like everything I wanted froma game. When the real game dropped and my disappointment settled in I was so upset. It was the day I lost my excitement and thrill for gaming, I ended up selling my xbox not long after, I ended up with a gaming PC a few years later but I don't get excited for games anymore. Friends tell me about upcoming games like "hey man you excited for X release?" "Nah I'll just get it at 60-80% off full price a few years later" Bioware created my favouite games of all time, Mass Effect 1-3. But let me down like never before with Anthem.
It's still baffling to me after all these years how many people actually believed this was captured in-game footage :D Also love that Kim who "could use the xp" is the highest level player.
I downloaded it and it is actually really fun the combat is a mix of gears of war and destiny the flying aspect is freaking awesome I totally recommend this game and the micro transactions are for cosmetics so you can play the game fine without buying microtransactions
This looks like some of my dreams, but without all the electrical stuff. But i think civil pc's cant perform shit like this. Maybe it was rendered by a fucking nasa computer^^

Please dev redo this game it has good potential I love the javelin add content create more type of enemies more of a actual human like creates that attack. New story bring it back
nothing about this disappoints me but knowing that its only gonna look this good at E3 and when it comes out... yea textures are gone. huge monster interactions are gone. low res. less stuff in the world. less light. mechanics will change. HUD wont be the same. but shit one can dream.
Probably we will see some downgrades, but keep in mind, this is running on Frostbite, if you have forgotten what that engine can do, go back and play some Battlefield 1 or Battlefront. I highly doubt the game will get downgraded to the extent we've seen most Ubisoft titles get downgraded to.
It looks great but I have my doubts. 1. Nobody talks to each other like that online so my guess is it's a scripted conversation for the sake of promo. 2. It won't look half as good as that when released as many games have proven so (Watchdogs anyone?). I really hope I am wrong, I really do.
Never heard of Anthem before, butit looks amazing. Love the shooting while in the air. I downloaded the game through Xbox game pass just a couple days ago. Let's hope it's as good as advertised
This is the triple-A gaming equivalent of those shitty mobile game ads that promise you the world with engaging gameplay and complex puzzles, but when you download it its just a medieval farmville clone.
Im getting mad titanfall 2 vibes with the mec suits and the whole thing they fly into at the end still looks awsome though if its like this when it’s released im buying it no doubt

Karbon Kopy i think they meant to make it seem like a bunch of friends were playing, it wasnt supposed to be quality, or hyped up, it was meant to be more real. But the friends falling from the sky thing is a good point, like they were on stand by or something😂
This game looks great and most people keep complaining about how the game will look once complete.. then go play on pc where the texture and graphics as a whole can me mortified to 'Ultra' and provide you with a way better experience. I played Ark on xbox one and ps4 and I enjoyed it very much until I downloaded it on my desktop and played on ultra graphics.. never went back to console for any game. Plus the play anywhere from Microsoft made it easy since mostly every game on xbox was a free download to my pc including Ark.
Will this be better than destiny? or perhaps just another hyped game? im getting a destiny/The division type feel from this.. I really hope its a great game!
Realising that the voice acting was supposed to represent actual players talking on mic was the moment I knew this game was going to be absolute pants. I thought that was in game audio at first.
After everything about this game has been revealed, watching this movie is one of the most amusing things I've ever watched! For those out-of-the-loop, what you're watching isn't a game, it's an animation. The actual development for Anthem began AFTER this trailer. Don't be all cynical, be entertained by this embarrassing flop.
WatchDogs and The Division it's all i've got to say. If this was made from another distributor than E.A (like CD Project Red maybe) i would believe that could be a good game.
Why do futuristic movies, games and shows always have some sort of Middle Eastern appeal? Like Chronicles of Riddick for example. They have space ships but live in dirt houses with cloth doors.
Pwnagraphic It gives the setting a more nitty-gritty, almost post apocalyptic feel. It's not so much middle eastern as it is just a more... impoverished feel. Blade-Runner, Firefly, and District 9 are other good examples. It's just to give it a grittier, sometimes darker feel.
It gives (most of) the audience a world that feels alien to them but still believable as it has a real world basis. For middle easterners maybe not so much
i hate how EA and Ubisoft always have great ideas and then sell us some playstation 1 graphics game with 20% of the advertised content at release. Wont be buying this or any other game from those publishers thank you very much, lesson learned.
I dont know what to say EA hardly ever downgrade there products cuz they use Frostbite engine. But who knows gaming is so much of a hassle idk wat to believe anymore

You can see the aim of this game and how it should've been. Such a damn shame But I hope the reboot will be as what it should've been. IF the team is still behind it that is..
