the real reason is, because old films were usually captured at ~18fps, and when you convert them into ~24fps films ( movie standard fps) it shows up much quicker

Jesus, how much can you simplify the Fall of Yugoslavia more? The Fall of Yugoslavia is so much more than just the doing of the USA and the NATO... Ethnic Conflicts, declining economy, Missing democratic structures, the rise of Pre-Socialist Yugoslavian Groups, the dominance of the Serbs, the fall of the eastern bloc, etc... ofc also the USA/Nato had their share but it is far from being the only cause. The purge was totally justified tho, you can't just let a conspiratorial block that attempts to assassinate members of your own government be, you need to take action and root out these counter revolutionary forces.
RedTerror Stalin was better than Trotsky in the long term (followed Lenin’s ideals a lot better), but his acts and things like the personality glorification or the kulak massacre (he even considered people with slightly more property, like one more fucking cow, a kulak!) were totally fascist. That’s why i always say I’m a Leninist, but not a Stalinist. Even tho in history he is considered a leninist, he was no true humanist, nor a hero.
