Lenin, just killed a capitalist Put my sickle against his head pulled my hammer now he's dead Lenin, vodka had just begun But now I've gone and thrown it all away
@@ambush_akula5261 there is nothing called capitalist music. Music is music. And rock n roll especially is the music of the people so I believe it is all the more passively associated with communism.
United forever in friendship and labour our mighty Republics will ever endure the Great Soviet Union will live through the ages the dream of a people their fortress secure. Long live our Soviet Motherland built by the people's mighty hand. Long live her people united and free strong in a friendship tried by fire long may her crimson flag inspire shining in glory for all men to see. Through days dark and stormy when great Lenin led us our eyes saw the bright sun of Freedom above and Stalin our leader with faith in the people inspired us to build the land that we love. [ chorus ] We fought for the future destroyed the invader and brought to our homeland the laurels of fame. A glory will live in the memory of nations and all generations will honour her name

@@malikajha9165 in a poll most people who lived under socialist states said their lives were better before the fall of communism (the reasons they gave were stability, not having to worry about lack of housing, jobs, education, etc). Governments actually had to illegalize communism and manipulate elections to keep them from going back to socialism. But of course there were problems and different people have different views in the former Eastern Bloc.
@Sebastien BOHAN actually the "100 million" statistic is a propaganda number that includes fudged numbers and the deaths of literal nazis that invaded Russia. Even some of it's original contributors have come out about how the books author was obsessed with getting to the 100 million number. A lot of people did die under socialist states dont get me wrong, most notably 15-30 mil during Mao's great leap forward, a couple million in USSR famines and 700,000 executions by the NKVD during Stalin's time, etc, but nowhere close to 100 million.
My grandparents lived in Soviet Ukraine and they didn't have access to Healthcare. They also told me that it was depressing and that they were forced to work. It was an undeveloped dictatorial regime that killed millions.

Really sorry to hear that brother.... First time hearing the opinion of a person who have actually experienced the Communist Soviet era... Well this is what Karl Marx saw a century ago... Nothing can replace that ideology if implemented properly...
@@w1z4rd9 The monstrosity of humanity is unnatural. It is a result of social conditioning by the capitalist regime to make us believe that no-one can be trusted, and that everyone is a potential enemy. It is a tool they use to divide and isolate us. Humans are naturally compassionate, caring creatures. Do not lose faith in the goodness of humanity, that is what the bourgeoisie wants.

Soviet Union National Anthem is THE BEST anthem EVER created !! Very beautiful !! Слава СССР !! Позор Горбачеву и тем уродам кто развалил такую красивую и мощную страну !!
Thank you for this english version of one of my all time favourite songs. I'm a canadian and will always remember watching the great hockey games with my dad in the early 80's. this anthem is one of the best songs ever composed and performed. (i prefer the russian original vocals, but nice to hear more about meaning)
