This film is the perfect characterization of the state of MLP as a fandom, how it started back in the 80s, how it grew from 2010 onward, and how the fandom got involved up to G5, when it's now a state of homeostasis. What you do now is up to you. As for Twilight and Starlight? All that matters now is that they are recognized for who they were, and remembered fondly, now that their story is over. Because Hasbro wants to build off of their past success a bit too literally.

Okay, at first I was WTF-ing, but then I remembered that one little shot from the trailer of a rock with googly eyes. I assume that, in the movie, every person or thing with googly eyes is an avatar Michelle Yeoh inhabits? This must be a parody of the rock scene.

Missing Out is probably the best fan animation I have ever seen. As in, it is my favourite. It's exactly what I, and many others I can imagine, have always wanted. "What-If" scenarios with their favourite characters, and things that change the events, but done in an amazing way. It feels like an injustice to see that it has considerably fewer views than many of the others... "Give it time", I thought.
