Sad is such a dunce cap lol! The number of mafia interviews hes done and the amount of ridiculous mistakes he still makes like mis naming famous mobsters etc. hilarious.
But because you’re interested Vlad I’ll throw you a bone…There was another female boss named Pasquarella Spinelli. She was the boss of the Harlem Murder Stable Gang in the 1910s. Interestingly she was also Neapolitan and it was also a Camorra gang and not mafia. There has also been female bosses in the Camorra based in Naples Italy over the years including modern times. You see the Camorra has a different culture than the mafia. The Camorra origins were a prison gang that spilled out on the streets more like the the modern day “Mexico mafia”. Whereas the Sicilian mafia was created on the streets and was designed more as a quasi government in defiance to French / Spanish / northern Italy oppressors. Both became criminal organizations but different cultures all together…..
Thanks for the shout out Anthony. Yes, my grand father, Joe Parisi, killed Carlo Siniscalchi and opened the door for Vito Genovese to come to Springfield. My book he mentions is Mafia Confession; King of Bootleggers Murder available on Amazon. My new book about the modern day mob comes in August 15, City of Betrayal.
I hope you guys don’t have an all out war with Shelby ills I don’t want Homer, Bart or their neighbour ned to catch a stray. Watch out for chief wiggum too he’ll beat you if he arrests you
He wasnt the boss & yet again Vlad talking and acting like he knows more about his history ect than he does ... these guys must get paid well by vlad to sit there for hours & having to listen to Vlad talk over, talk like he knows more than they do ect. Not sure how by now and so many people saying the same irritating things vlad does that he hasnt changed/stopped doing them all
Woman bosses happen over in Italy mainly in the Calabrian/Neapolitan Mafia (aka the Camorra) Rosetta Cutolo and Maria Licciardi are the two biggest examples.
Being a life long resident of Springfield and growing up in the south end (marble st projects) it’s crazy finally seeing one the mobsters on an international platform … plenty of real gangsters and real dudes out of Springfield but never got much recognition except from people really in the streets and in the prisons…
@@anthonyarillottamoneymayhe9495 u asked me if you should tint out the back seat windows. Weird encounter too because 2 days before because I met ur childhood friend Grasso and talked with him about Bruno and all that stuff for an hour; he wanted to buy my father’s jeep. I didn’t realize it was u until afterwards
I’m from Springfield and for as long as can remember all our mayors were and are italian. I grew up in the south end where Al Bruno was killed and alot of downtown is still Italian stores and they own alot of the liquor licenses to the clubs and bars.
In Italy, expecially in the camorra, there always have been lady bosses or underbosses. Rosetta Cutolo, Maria Licciardi, Pupetta Maresca ect. Also in the 'ndrangheta, there were women who were basically bosses of their family, like Maria Serraino.
The mob would never give the ok to this back in the day times have change but i welcome it because you always wanted to know about the real inside of this thing they had going on .

Both became criminal organizations but different cultures all together…..Females would hold a higher role in Camorra gangs because they weren’t going in and out of prison like the men so they had more responsibility to the gang which would sometimes lead to leadership roles… in the early days the Mafioso in Sicily would not be in prison but rather would be in a local political position not in prison where he would haft to rely on his wife to run his affairs while he was locked up. Vito Genovese was from Naples and he took over the family from lucky Luciano who happened to be Sicilian but started out in a Calabrian gang or really the multi ethic 5 Points Gang. So when Cosa Nostra became a thing in the early 30s the Luciano Family which later became known as the Genovese family embraced most of of the non-Sicilian Italian gangs into their family compared to the Bonanno Lucchase and Colombo family for example which was dominated by Sicilians and throughout hung on to that mafia culture. The Gambino was in the middle… they very much operated like the Sicilian mafia but they also embraced Calabrians. I hope this clears it up!
@@aceloco817 No. Not traditionally to my understanding. He would of bragged & Snitched on "it" like he did everything else (structuring & what not cause he didn't / doesn't know). > This guy is low man on A Totem pole- that's 60 connected Totem pole"s away from the ruling _Genovese 'Seceet Six'._ Thus he's A long distance mover- allowed to operate as long as he kicks up bi-annually (or something similar) to some kid, who's the son/ relative of an actual connected Genovese wise guy.
Vlad needs to try and interview someone from the Ndrangheta or Camorra, the actual Sicilian mafia They are wayyyy more bigger and serious compared to the five family especially the first 2 I mentioned. When it comes to Italy they run stuff If Vlad could get one of them that will be crazy but very hard as it’s family clans
Im from Western Mass and the mob factions in this area stayed within their circle and never bothered anyone. Now that their presence has been diminished over the past 30 years, street gangs have taken over and now a lot of innocent people are affected. The mob at least gave back to the community and upheld a normal way of life. Its sad seeing the areas i grew up in turn to shit from drugs and violence.
This guy wasnt the boss. The Springfield family is ran by Fat Tony D'Amico. With Capo Johnny Tightlips & Homer "Dope" Simpson was a high ranking associate.
