I've never been a kid person... not even when I was a kid lol. Becoming a parent was never something I envisioned or wanted for myself. I wasn't adamantly opposed to it, it just wasn't something I was interested in or felt compelled to put on my life's agenda. So it was really surprising to everyone who knows me (including myself) when I was the first one out of my large friend group to have a baby. After my son was born, his father and I got married and we ended up having two more kids a few years later. My oldest just started high school today. Honestly, my feeling about kids hasn't really changed. I'm still not a kid person, not even with my nieces, nephews or cousins, but I love my own. The thing about having your own is that you get to raise them. You get to raise kids who are not annoying and who are actually pretty fun to hang out with. People constantly tell me how much they love my kids and how great they are and how lucky I am, but it's not luck, it's just what happens when you raise your kids to be the kind of people that other people enjoy being around.
I think that's refreshing, someone that isn't into kids and knows it!! Beforehand!!! ... but has kids. I don't have kids, I really never thought I could be into the responsibilities that come with them. Because honestly, they're a bunch of real responsibilities that do come with them, no lie. I love my nieces and nephews and my friends kids. I tell others to havem if they want kids.
Pretty refreshing take, I get annoyed by parents that act like other people have to care about their kids. I would care about my own, but I don't feel obligated to care about someone else's.

Opie was right about Ant being single and Obama being prez making the show awesome, but eventually Ant’s negative-funny uninformed political talks got more and more common and his partying got a little much. O&A was great from 2004 to 2010/11
You cannot trust a soul these days. Ill take animals over people. People seem to be filth. And children eventually grow up to be filth but an animal will never let you down, unless it does lol
