i looked up advanced stats on Rudy and for the better part of a decade his teams d rating were 19-30 when he is off the floor and 1-3 when he is on the floor no matter his team or rest of his cast. He is absurdly game changing defensively. Turns out Wolves front office did their homework and all the haters in media cant even spend 5 min to look up his stats before taking shots.

Exactly, as good as Ant and KAT are, Rudy is an unsung hero. Great for Wolves to embrace the defensive mindset, it's paying dividends now

I’m not sure if he is yet, BUT I’d argue these playoffs, same as Wades playoffs his first Miami title, are his first chance to actually put his name in the mix for that legit mantle! If Ant leads the wolves to the title, even with all this help, I think we’ll see the stsrt of the media rollout campaign for him as the best in the world. They know it’s coming, but they don’t want to roll it out before it’s legit. But I mean, depsite being so young( like dwade) he might actually be ready to make it happen , and drop 30-40 pieces along the way. I will say it’s going to take SO much poise from him and numerous consecutive games of SMART decisions mixed with taking over when need be. He’s done it all perfectly so far! But the Nuggets are really going to require him to be on almost a new level of mental acuity consistently.

I'm a Lions fan, and it's been fun to watch the two teams over the last 3 years because they're on the same trajectory. Not only good, but built to be good for more than one or two years. If my dreams came true, in 5 years we'll be talking about both franchises as generational talents and true dynasties. That would be something after the decades of abject failure... i love how they aren't known for their 'superstar' its just a great team that all work well together which brings winning basketball. its good to see them whoop the suns bc it destroys the narrative that big 3's or superteams is the formula to win.
