@@colloquially I don’t care tbh I’m just curious on why he’s praying for someone else to like it if you pray for something it holds importance to some degree I just want to know why
the thing which separates bruno and anderson especially bruno is that he can make these songs which have both mainstream sound which younger people love and that complex musicality which goes well with the older audience which is very very difficult to do this can be the biggest album since thriller especially if all songs are singles on this album
I feel as if Bruno and Anderson both do it, the difference is Bruno channels a stevie wonder vibe and Anderson channels more of a James Brown on "The Boss" kind of vibe.
@@cyote312ify anderson is a drum based artist that is he makes his songs using mostly drums bruno uses piano to make songs when i was your man uptown funk thats what i like were all written on piano first when they both combine thats why it sounds so good
@@joshentertainment2 That's great, but you have an immense amount of research to do. Loads of soul and funk have remained underground ever since release. It's a vast universe.
@@joshentertainment2 yes this, oldheads act like no young people have never heard or take into account that maybe teens listen to genre’s that aren’t rap
Thing is Bruno Mars said in an interview that’s he’s like a full perfectionist with his music so you’re definitely gonna have to wait awhile for the album
I think they've completed the album they're just taking it slow, bruno said himself they're going to read the room and release new tracks when the times right. They don't want to release every thing all at once because they worked so hard on it and want the songs to actually breath.
I do like Leave the Door Open more than Skate, but Skate is really really great. We need to be glad that these guys are teaming up to form Silk Sonic. This will be the album of the year.
For the record, there wasn't a key change in this song. But quite a few chord changes which is something you don't hear in mainstream music these days.
@@joshentertainment2 obviously key change means the same chord progression in a different key....... In this case it wasn't(pretty much every BM songs are like that
actually crazy to me that JD Beck and DoMi helped write this.. it's so far away from anything they do sonically. So excited for when they finally drop shit.
Silk Sonic and The Weeknd about to drop something this year probably or maybe January next year it's gonna be big time once they have released their albums.
@@MyoticTesseract It kinda did. Cudi sounded more depressed at the beginning of the album and was more upbeat and hopeful by the end. Kanye was manic at the start and calm and thoughtful at the end. They get reborn half way through the album and are their new selves afterwards
i honestly wouldn't be mad if they drop one more single before the year ends then drop the album close to 2022 summer and rule it. But idk how the Grammy nominations work and if that's within the deadline 😭 you're right this album is such a strong summer vibe I just want the time to be right and I'm down for waiting bc summer 21 is basically over
Also.......we are age 9 and 10 and it takes us a bit of time to learn each song! Check out cover of 'Leave the door open' on our RU-vid channel. We are now working on 'Skate'! 🤣
@ayaan I mean they waited like 4 months for the 2nd single, so at that rate they’ll have 4-5 singles for the album by next summer. A lot but not as much as Joyner had
To his credit, the bridge does sound pretty different from the main progression, also fantano has never made claims to be super well versed on music theory, he's more into the mixing and concepts behind songs.
@@Ignore14Yeah I dont really defend his ratings of rating reviews, I just disagree with the comment that he talks about music theory a whole bunch, because for better or worse he doesn't take it into account very often.
The perfect description is that I’ve heard this before, but I haven’t. I’ve heard Motown and all that 70s music, but this is still new and has its own vibe seperate to the 70s with it
@@SergeantSkeleton yeah, I think that would still be a little bit generous to it though lol however as I said give me this over almost all over modern artists music
Please make a 70s film with this album like the bee gees did in grease🤔 skate animated intro to a bruno mars and anderson .paak movie.....just a thought✌🤘
@@mzeamer6847 well the lyrics are actually better than LTDO. Anyone saying they love these songs because of lyrics is definitely biased. "Shut yo trap" in a romantic love song? Uhh...ok. i know thats Ltdo. Lyrics here aren't too bad but the melody of the song just doesn't grab u like LTDO did. The hook is also nowhere near as strong
