He has always had that sing songy type of thing going but like you said it really is the production that makes the song which is no credit to him at all coz listening to clb reminded me that if I just focus on drake's sing songy portions I would shoot myself. The flow on this track is literally trying to kill me. What even is it. It's bad when mumble rap seems more appealing to me somehow than whatever drake is doing. He sounds so fucking bored. And he thinks he is going into this laidback chill voice but he actually just sounds bored out of his mind. I felt the need to nap twice while listening to the album. I was channeling my inner DJ akademiks
Heard this at work and the first thing that came out my mouth after the lesbian bar was “What the fuck???” and a girl at my job instantly looked at me and asked if I was okay. I told her I was listening to Drake’s new album and she instantly said “Oh did you just hear that lesbian line?” We both laughed that shit was funny af 😂😂😂
Even worse is that the overall song messaging is being ignored sort of. It's a song that keeps mentioning about Drake's perception that more women he encounters are more into women than men, and even though he's not directly complaining the implicature is that Drake isn't happy about it unless it results in more FFM threesomes. It's such a shit overall concept for a song.

What I was hoping the song would be about: Drake sees that a lot of women get treated badly by men, which makes them become interested in women, so he tries to be more emotionally intelligent, and aware of his own behavior What it was actually about: Drake likes that lesbians/bi women exist because he can try and get ffm threesomes out of them

Maybe, but also creepy dudes to lesbians they meet in public. Hearing a line in a pop song and realizing that it's actually going to make your life a little worse for awhile is kind of an intense experience. Can't say I recommend it, though.

I dont mind the lesbian line on its own its kinda funny ,just the rest of the lyrics make that uncomfortable,it mostly jusy sounds boring although i actually kinda like how lil baby sounds but it doesnt fucking fit
Bro drake really needs to move in a new creative direction. Appreciate Kanye for his evolution, and I love how Kanye consistently reflects the state of mind he is in. But drakes songs since 2016 all just sound the same. Their not bad songs but it’s just bland and boring now. Cmon Aubrey switch things up alil, take a risk even if it doesn’t sound cool at least try something different.

It was songs like this that stopped CLB from being AOTY or passing Donda, This was flat out lazy and was clear Drake didn't care about what he said in the song ESPECIALLY THE CHORUS
