Best form of his life off beating Ngannou, Helenious and Wallin, Helenious wasn't the best performance, Wallin wasn't a threat and Ngannou has 1 Pro fight against a clearly out of shape and possibly over the hill fury. AJ does seem to be back but still needs a real test to really know how he's going to deal with an apponent who comes to win. Dubois might not be that test. Parker or Zhang would be a better measuring stick to see where AJ is really at.

Great interview. Respectful but direct. Dubois is going to be emotionally charged and under immense pressure to impress his boss. AJ needs to turn up the pressure early, try to land something big early on to make Duboise panick, and then step back and capitalize on Duboise's mistakes.

That first Ruiz fight with AJ was a pivotal moment in his career. That was THE fight where AJ realised he could no longer allow himself to believe his own hype. AJ's mental state has now been to never underestimate his opponent and to treat EVERY fight luke it's the most important fight of his career. This mindset was further cemented when he fought Usyk and even though he lost twice, his secind fight with Usyk was a great showing of AJ's boxing development. AJ is definitely knocking Dubois out but you can tell AJ is approaching his preparation for the fight as if his Ahab wants to take out Shamu.

Why are people acting as though this doesn't happen all of the time? Every sanctioning body has done this or worse 🤷🏾‍♂️ An example of something which changed the course of history was when Vasquez was stripped the day before he faced Naseem Hamed, that effectively stopped Hamed becoming the first Undisputed Champion in the 4 Belt era. At least we know Usyk is the Undisputed Champion, it's only someone who starts watching boxing after September 21st that wouldn't understand that.

they are pushing Daniel too early and the dude isn't ready he is two years away i think but AJ is going to squash him and destroy the dude's momentum AJ is winding down in my opinion, AJ is 34 right i think he retires at 37 he fights Fury, fights Uysk ... he might win, he might lose both he might do a fight with Parker or Zhang and then call it a day Daniel shouldn't have taken this fight, he has to win if he wants superstardom or be relegated to a Dillian Whyte Position for the rest of his career in my opinion

Thing with AJ is if he is in with someone who doesn't disturb him he is phenomenal but if he is disturbed then he can get careless and tires quick. DDD has the attributes especially he seems to matured into rough tactics. But even AJ wins in good fashion he reinforces his positioning.

Where's that Dillian Whyte guy that was always beefing AJ? AJ is still in the spotlight accomplishing things and Whyte is unheard of. Dillian's jealousy of AJ was too malignant. People slag AJ off so much but he's faced anyone and everyone except maybe wilder. Ruiz loss, straight back in, Usyk loss, straight back in. Hope he beats dubois and gets two big ones Tyson and then Usyk again. Genuinely think he can beat Usyk if he fully commits and uses his strengths. Usyk was marked up big time in 2nd fight. He needs to throw caution to thw wind a bit and not let the punches taken accumulate.

He had to let Dubois know who he was dealing with. You can’t be talking disrespectfully towards your opponent just because your team are goading you into it. Dubois strikes me as someone whose team tend to push him into saying things in order to build his profile including all those rumours back then that he knocked out AJ in sparring… now I have been hearing Dubois backtracking on the whole sparring stuff 😂😂

Massive improvement in AJs style is that he is dipping his knees changing levels, very difficult for some to land clean, he’s also worked on his timing and throws the right hand to take someone’s head clean off, He as Also doesn’t waste punches now, Think he should win by knockout within 3-4 rounds,
