On the night of September 25-26, Oleksandr Usyk defeated the WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua in London at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium and took the belts from him.
At stake in the most anticipated fight of 2021 were four championship belts of the Briton, and for the Ukrainian, the former absolute world champion in heavyweight, this fight became the first title in the super heavyweight division. As it was known even before the fight, there was a rematch clause in the contract, and Joshua activated it.
The Usyk-Joshua fight will take place on August 21, 2022 at approximately 00:00 Kyiv time in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia).
For Ukrainians, the show of the fight will be free. All residents of our country will be able to see the live broadcast: both on television and online services on the Internet. In addition, the show will take place on Usyk's RU-vid channel - Usyk17.
