Hes nothing close to Josh......... Terrible title.....in Joshs 2nd season we made the playoffs..... the bills didnst suffer with allen ever even in his rookie season. he was a highlight real..... he got hurt for a few weeks..... prolly woulda made it that year too if he didnt.

Don't compare AR to Allen. AR missed 15 or 25 games, left 4 of 10 starts early, tapped out, unable to run ball a lot cause hell get hurt, lowest completion % in NFL in 20 years outside Josh Freeman....it was obvious before draft and it's more than obvious now this guy is can't be an NFL QB. Ballard should be fired. Colts are completely done with AR.

The guy just doesn't have it. Josh Allen's starts are not good in his first season but he always looked like a possible starter. I still remember his final games of his rookie season he was looking like he was settling in. Especially that final game.

Well the NFL doesn't have an off season place to go to play like the NBA Summer League or Europe or a Minor League system like MLB to develop skills and then come back up more ready to play at the NFL level. Perhaps if there was Anthony could have done that over the summer. Among his issues is poor choices on the field that got him hurt and set him back. That is a kind of tapping yourself out and it shows that lack of maturity or smarts about managing your career. The NFL is a tough place to get to and make it. The Colts need a QB to carry them too. That adds to the pressure. I know Steichen hated to be in that press conference talking about benching Richardson. As a Colts fan this is what we hoped would not happen but we all know this was a gamble.

100% He would have killed in the XFL. but his feet are failing him the most and that takes a dedication of months to work on. So that's a problem there too. Totally agree on the NFL investing in a spring league to help guys develop.

Don't compare Richardson to Allen. Allen has played thru many injuries including a partially torn UCL in his throwing arm. You're disregarding the intangibles. If you watch Josh Allen play football you'd know he'd never tap out.

There's only ONE JA17, he ain't no quitter.

Can you ever imagine JA17 tapping out? EVER?? Horrifying choice of title wording.

The film is much more flattering of Richardson game vs the box score.

Yeah, there was a dropped TD that I'm not hearing about because he tapped out of the game. AR has unfortunately shown the 3 I's of an eventual draft bust. Inconsistent, Injury prone, Immature.
