I was feeling so stressed out and thinking how nice it would be to have been born into another family. I happened upon this video and it snapped me right out of my pity party. Can you imagine how horrible it was to be this man's child or wife...

How these detectives keep their cool when dealing with monsters like this is beyond me.

I don't know how they don't just cover the camera and say, "Craziest thing. He beat himself to death."

The fact that he is trying to say his kids made a choice to die is absolutely absurd and it’s clear his wife wasn’t planning on dying either bc she bought Christmas gifts for the kids, if you planned to be dead before Christmas then why buy a bunch of gifts this guy is insane!

watched him on the stand, he wanted to run the trial,he said he couldn't find a phone to call helpg but he went out of the house multiple times, scary watching a narcissist psychopath doing what they do best,talk about themselves,TRY to act normal and thinking everyone believes everything he says,he wrote to his dad from jail saying " when I walk out of here in a few months I will be homeless and I will have no clothes cos I have lost 60 pounds" OH MY SCARY 😱

He expects people to believe that his wife stabbed herself once, waited a while, then tried to OD on benadryl...and stabbed herself again? Both times in the abdomen? Ummmm... no.

Hearing this man explain how he murdered his children is extremely disturbing. It's like a horror film; those poor kids what they must have gone through at the hands of their father. Unbelievable.

His condescending "OKAY?" after every sentence makes me want to BARF

I’m less than 10 minutes in and he says, “we’re not violent people.” The level of denial and psychopathy is hard to comprehend. I’m shook.

He's talking to the police as if he's some professional killer. Like he's the expert and the detectives will be so impressed. I've seen this and watched his trial too. He really does make my skin crawl but I still keep watching. I have so many questions. Something about this case, so disturbing!

This is absolutely horrific to listen to. Those poor, sweet children. The terror they must have felt is just unimaginable. 😥

He stayed in the house with them for days. This tells me how crazy he was. Usually they flee. How do you stay in the house with the bodies? What was he thinking? It’s so terribly disturbing and so heartbreaking. I can’t imagine how their families dealt with it.

I believe he made the two older boys each sleep on separate stories of the house on the night of the murders so if 1 tried to fight back/scream he wouldn’t wake the other boy up to escape/alert someone for help

I've been following this case since it happened and I knew to expect that this maniac was a narcissist at least, and possibly a psychopath, but wow - I really didn't expect to see this complete lack of emotion... Absolutely zero cares about slaughtering his entire family. Even when he talked about their exsanguination. Just wow. You really can't completely understand the depths of a psychopath's depravity until you see something like this and it completely hits home that they really, truly, genuinely could not care less about the lives of the people around them (as in, supposed "loved ones."). And for the record, Breezy was stabbed 6 times. SIX. He tried to minimize it by saying that he suffocated her and she went peacefully, but that was a lie. Evidence shows that she struggled and that she bit him twice (good for you, Breezy!).

I’m sure it’s a mix of compartmentalizing along with knowing they need this confession to secure justice and they must stay calm and professional. Amazing job. It is unacceptable how bad the audio quality is in some of these interview rooms. The information is so important for the trials. The worst idea ever, that has come out of some peoples mouths is to stop funding and supporting our PD. That is half the issue. They are already struggling to keep up to date with technology, equipment, body cams, training courses (empathy and counseling for the officers who harden up after having to see and deal with tragedies and such as the one we are watching now as an example ) I can not imagine having to witness all these evils in real life. I commend police officers, detectives, paramedics, medical examiners, etc....They are way under appreciated IMO.

It's amazing how after this "head injury" and not having any memory of this he still remembers passwords to his phone and tablet he isn't slurred or sounding confused in anyway, knows the answers straight away

I doubt anyone, but him was planning these deaths. As a kid, if my parents were discussing killing me and my sister as well as themselves, I'd be screaming and crying my head off. And my sister and I would be talking to our teachers and the parish priest trying to stop this. So no, this wasn't discussed with anyone in the family.

It's fascinating and horrifying watching someone who is so cavalier discussing this. His speech throughout this interrogation flows more consistently than during his cross on stand. This appears to be the more "honest" recollection. He has absolutely no emotion. Would love to see home videos or something and see if he was able to at least mimic normalcy, bc how tf did he ever get married.

I'm from CT and close in age to Megan so I've been following this case closely and waiting for this interrogation to be released publicly. I suppose, perhaps, I was hoping to hear this man say something to make this horrific event somehow and in some way make sense. I'm a few minutes in and I can longer watch it. Not only do his horrific actions not make an ounce of sense, but his demeanor and matter-of-fact delivery in divulging how and where he took the lives of the people he vowed to love and protect are truly sickening. I pray for Megan, the children, their dog and all of their loved ones.

Imagine the disgust and revulsion, of the interrogators, towards this monster.

So Meg took all that medicine and stabbed herself twice and then said "I want a different sheet on the bed while I'm dying 🤔🤨🙄

Asked why one child was sleeping downstairs, & not in his bedroom,the father said, “Je was sick & we kept them separated.” This from the man who’s about to kill them all.

It's interesting how "death for all" means "death for all but one." Toad man sitting there is actually killing himself and dying of liver cirrhosis. Like that scene in "Lethal Weapon." Mel Gibson says to the man on the roof, "Don't jump. Here's a cigarette. Let's take our time and die of lung cancer."

This family is originally from a town about 20 minutes from me. It’s eerie. I listened to him on the stand for about maybe a half hour and the narcissism was unreal. Couldn’t bear it. I knew he would be convicted. Great job by all these detectives who have to hear and see the worst of the worst.

I am horrified to hear this. Horrified. I cannot believe this monster could do this to those kids. I'm watching him on the stand and he's trying to tell a completely different story. He's literally the epitome of a narcissist. Interesting that they wanted to be sedated with pills and wine but their poor kids were cold turkey terrified and no doubt fighting for their lives. I just can't with this.

I want to share, that aside if the obvious nut job, in the room,….. these officers showed incredible self control. I wouldn’t have been able to sit and listen to these murders. The calm he displays while murdering his own children, is chilling.
