I respect this man more than any monarch or head of state. As soon as you hear Warlow speak you can see he is a brilliant mind. Genius, caring parent, tenor, baritone and soprano (sounded like a bass too), comedian, magician, cancer-suvivor, character actor, man of faith, a record-breaker, a big heart, handsome facade and one high class gentleman. This man is perfect. Thank you for this important interview Yajunwindbell!
Thank you for posting this interview. I have admired Anthony Warlow for many years, having first heard him when the JEKYLL/HYDE CD came out. His technique has always intrigued me; it's always so pure (he treats his vocal instrument very well), while still managing to expertly convey the meaning of the song. I've never heard anyone else like him. So, I really appreciated hearing about his early training and career.
I find him to have a wonderful voice. I always saw him as a tenor singer, but I didn't think he had such a big range in his singing. That's so cool! :D
Thanks for sharing. A great interview from one of my favourite voices in the world - and he's a pretty good lookin' fella too! With his very gracious permission, snippets of shows he has been in - including Doctor Zhivago and The Secret Garden, along with a few others - now grace the pages of my first and second novels, Silken Images and Fractured Symphony using my nom de plume Jennifer Larmar.
