I remember when Charlie and Dave started the super fast double bass playing. Charlie got it from his teacher Dom Famularo, but with metal riffs, it's incredible
Belladona have more slim body, but his organism seems to be very strong ! I mean he have even more power, energy and charisma than in 80 `s.. good he returned to Anthrax best albums was with him.
+Zoran Ramzo Kamenycky I too hope that this time it will last. As he says he is singing every day, he stopped drinking in 1990, also doesn't seem to ruin his voice with too much cigarettes or other stuff, plus he's in great physical shape, being slim (not scrawny, that wouldn't be good either) and athletic is definitely an advantage as he doesn't run out of steam so fast (I don't wanna say that the other guys in the big four are in bad shape, but they've at least all got some small middle-age paunch). Or just look at Axl Rose, it sometimes seems like he can't sing a single line without running out of breath, but that's hardly surprising with his physical condition and the lifestyle he led.
Duff Mckagan wrote amazing book" Its so easy and Other Lies, he made absolutely amazing transformation ... Oh and did I mention this song absolutely kick ass, its so uplifting , I love to play rhythm on guitar!
@Marco Sousawhat? I don't worship the devil! Sauza is a tequila (made in Mexico), I was just comparing it to your last name. She's a Chihuahua mix so she got a Mexican name. That's all, sorry I brought it up. Jesus is my savior! ☮️💜
I imagine the band heard all the noise about how they shouldn't have been in the big 4. And they could definitely see all the late arrivers who did not particularly care whether or not they saw Anthrax. Credit to them, because they blocked out all the noise and absolutely killed it. They may have had the best performance of anybody.
@@leedonovan8567 This. I've seen the live twice while they opened for other bands. Their merch lines are always almost empty before the show while the others are full. Then the show ends and their merch line is the longest
Anyone who says John Bush was better can’t be a genuine Anthrax fan!? As how the heck can people compare Joey, and all the amazing benefits he brings to the band, to Bush who recorded one truly great album - We’ve come for you all, which after watching a documentary about the making of that album it was admitted by Scott and Charlie that they called it ‘their comeback album’ after quite a few years stuck in a rut. I loved ‘Sound of White Noise’ when it came out but when I listen to it now it’s still a solid album but it sounds somewhat dated and too polished. It’s around the time when Nu-Metal was taking over, so that album sounds too ‘MTV metal’ for me. 🤔 My favourite album is Among the Living but that’s because it was my first Anthrax purchase. I also can’t deny that Joey’s comeback album Worship Music was utterly amazing and reminded us all that Anthrax weren’t Anthrax without him. Legend!
I know the 90's were a tough time for thrash metal bands, but they should have not fired Joey back in 92. Bush is a great singer, but he was never quite right for Anthrax.
you're so right that thing, if someone is, joey belladonna is anthrax forever, actually new anthrax album is pretty good but not best, but anyway win very fine in any John bush crap song, i mean bush voice not fine in, but music is always best in anthrax!
when a band has inner troubles for whatever reason, the guitar, drummer, and the bass players are some what easy to replace. when they have to change the vocals after 4-5 albums it is hard to replace the voice of the front man.....the only band in my life time I have seen get fortune in that department was AC/DC
vio2112 agreed but they thought they needed a gruffer singer to survive Grunge but they were wrong personally I think sound of white noise would have sounded great with Joey as for john bush I like him with armoured saint and I am glad they were able to heal after Dave pritchards death
