It’s crazy Tom A was able to hold an incredible voice all those decades of vocal aggression. He still had that awesome scream right up till they retired.
As a black man and a rocker this is one of the few moments you’ll see black people not have rhythm… when there’s metal music on 😂😂😂 LONG LIVE METAL 🤘🏿🤘🏿🤘🏿🤘🏿
This comment is as hilarious as it is accurate. I was thinking just that whilst watching Tyra Banks attempting to get down. Truth is, everyone looks unco if subjected to metal when it’s not their musical preference, because they lack the necessary acclimatisation accrued over years of listening, but only metal can render an African American rhythmless lol. Edit : Hail Brutal Technical Death Metal 🤘🏻🥁🔥👹👌🏻
Saw them Ozzfest 04, Mt. View. Was on my way to go eat,saw them tuning up from the lawn area at the railing. Said, nope who needs food and drink? I was not going to miss Legends for food.😊
@titools4375 I agree, the Grammys, rock n roll hall of fame, etc are a complete joke that I don't pay any attention to. It means nothing, more so nowadays
None of these individuals would be enjoying this band. Most of them have absolutely no clues as to what real music actually is. I'd hate to hear what they're all actually listening to, and dancing to, because I'm sure it was some pure garbage. Lol.
I was there. Greatest night in Grammy history. Amazing to see so many amazing people and artists coming together to enjoy the greatest band of all time.
I am just finding this; but I went to Slayer concerts most of the time when they came to Cleveland. I met them at Tattoo The Earth in 2000. Kerry King had a girlfriend he hung out with for a few months in Cleveland. My last Slayer concert was in 2016 at Jacobs Pavilion with Death Angel and Anthrax.
Could you imagine?? How great would this really be 😂😂... Although I don't think Tom would've screamed out War Ensemble!!! And then broke into Angel Of Death... Lol!!
I saw Slayer on I think the David Letterman show. The audience was stunned. Everyone was just somewhere between amazed and horrified, or both. They had probably never been that stimulated by anything in their lives.
This was so epic I actually cried a little bit😢,for a band like slayer tobe on the LIVE MAIN STREAM on the grammys, 8ts amllmost sureal but very much needed and necessary
Funny how most of them celebs dont even know who slayer is and probably dont even care for them or wouldn't even buy a ticket to go see thier show, but there having a blast for the media on live television😂
@@Whitey2706now I understand! it seemed strange to me that Slayer had won and accepted an ammy! in their time even sex pistol won an award and they said they wouldn't have accepted it unless it was there there was a bathroom nearby to piss in! hello from Florence 😉👍🏿
What an awesome band to listen to in the morning. I mean the unintentional neckgymnastics that comes with it. Just cant help it, i hate exercise but this makes me move either i want it or not.
Been a Fuckin Slayer fan since 1986 and when I first heard Reign In Blood I loved it instantly, and was kicked in the gut with its raw awesome head banging brutality. I’ve only loved an album 3 times on its first listen. Reign In Blood, South Of Heaven and Mastodon’s Blood Mountain. I usually grow into liking an album but Slayer…Fuckin a!
Saw these boys in England, in 86 or 87....one of the best gigs I ever saw...and I listen to all types of shit but I am no big metal fan...they were stunning..
Yanni as keyboardist ? That audience didn't know what hit them......mainstream yahoos......bomb ass song.....screaming fn guitar......double bass beat down......LOVED IT! 🤘🤘🤘🤘
I remember the first time still.. a tape loaned to me that I wouldn't give back until I had a copy. I was 13... and it's been 33 years since.. and 14x live.. unreal. Anthrax and Megadeth have no business in a foursome here.. Metallica is deserving.. but Slayer is the best to ever do it! 👍💪👊🤘
What the cameras that night, and journalists who covered the event, refused to disclose, was all the hemorrhaging eyes, filled with bloody tears, in the crowd, after the performance.
