@@Kikester as me you perfectly put it. It gives the riff a different I think more aggressive attack than alternate picking. Listen to 1000 points of hate by Anthrax for a perfect example or Metallica's master of puppets.

Karri Hanninen the fretting on the neck isn’t hard at all, it’s the picking and the tempo that and quick subtle patterns that fuck you up. Sometimes, my hand isn’t warmed up enough to keep up

If you go to any metal forum people talk about the band that should be in their place at #4 Testament, Overkill, etc. They have the best singer in the scene, and they ate sh!t for a decade when he was out. I used to love'em but especially what they did to their lead guitar player on the 40th anniversary stream, turned him way down in the mix, bummed me out. I checked out.

You make all these riffs sound even better than they actually are on the recordings. I just found your channel tonight and subbed immediately. I watch you playing these riffs and I don't recognize them and think what the hell? How did I not realize how cool that riff was on the album? I never even liked anthrax very much but I respected them cuz I knew they were in the top four. You sir, are absolutely incredible and amazing guitar player!

One World is one of my favourites. That one and ADI/Horror Of It All are so damn good! EDIT By the way, have you ever thought of also doing Easiest riffs instead of just Hardest? I think it would encourage beginners to be able to play sick but not too difficult riffs.

How about writing your own music and stop becoming the hundert thousandth clicktuber that's adorning himself with borrowed plumes? You are aaaall the same. You play metallica, megadeth, anthrax, corpse riffs etc and that's it. Maybe changing the sound by just one click in the bias-menue. Not better than the stupid reaction and prank channels.

I checked to make sure, and it turns out he wrote the riffs for Deathrider and Death From Above on the first album and became the principle riff writer after that.
