Hey guys, "I'm Alive"! Thank you for taking the "Time" to watch my cover! "In the end" I created another channel for my original compositions, but let's "keep it in the family" will you. ru-vid.com/show-UCx6dueCOaxuZrDamVKRNXVw They are mainly orchestral / classical but they are still pretty good (uhm uhm, I'll let you be the judge *Dredd* of that) Click the link and tell me if a metalhead like me can still "bring the noise" on the cello or *NOT!* It's a "Madhouse" over there, just saying...🤘✌️🦄
killer video and tone. so thats a mini V your playing? how in the hell do you keep it in tune? ive got Gibson Maestro V and won't stay in tune. im mean like really bad. any tips.
Hey man! Thanks a lot! I can't help you unfortunately, this is not a mini V… This is a standard one ('67 reissue). I just changed the pickguard and remove the neck pickup!
I'm curious about that as well. I've never really seen any Gibson V's with a single pickup, other than the Flying V Melody Maker. And I can't really make out what the TRC says.
Thanks man!! It's a Gibson Flying V 67 reissue I think. That I modded after I bought it. I'm looking at the internet to be sure but dayum those prices what the hell. I bought mine 2nd hand for 600 bucks back in the days.
Thanks a lot Orlando! For that video I had my Gibson Flying V with Seymour Duncan SH8 -> Mesa Boogie Rectifier single 50w -> Two Notes Torpedo Live and then Logic Pro as the sequencer.
Thank you! I plug my amp into a loadbox (so I have no cabinet cause of my neighbors.. argh) and the loadbox into my computer soundcard. Then on my computer I use a cabinet simulator. If you have more questions you know where to find me ;)
Hey man! Thanks a lot! Sorry for getting back to you so late... I'm sorry I can't get you any tips though ... I think it's just by practising... I've only thinking about playing guitar for the fun of it, I never really did any exercises or thinking about the way I play. I only wanted to play music that I loved so Thrash Metal rythmics in my case. So, that's all I really played. Metallica, Anthax, Slayer.... I guess it comes from that.
Dude, that Flying V is friggin' cool! Just curious if you modified it to have only one pickup? I haven't really seen any V's like that other than the Flying V Melody Maker , which doesn't have the greatest build quality. I'm ashamed to admit it, but I can't tell if it's actually a Gibson. Not sure that its TRC looks washed out because of the camera exposure or my TVs settings, or just a mod you made. 😄 Wouldn't mind either if someone else chimed in that could tell me 🤞
Thanks man!! haha.Yes I love it too! Yes it's a Gibson!! I changed the pickguard (and kept only 1 pickup) and also changed the little trussrod cover to match the new pickguard. So,the little cover is white without the Gibson. So I feel you, it would be a fake one as it's not written anywhere :D I think the really white pickguard change the perception of the color too. I may have yellowed out a little since I got it too.
@@justriffs That's really cool, you have good taste dude 🤟 . Its seems like you did a great job with it and I'm totally jealous 😄 I really appreciate you responding to me. I also think it would be totally cool if Gibson started making V's like that with one pickup. That aren't Melody Maker models 🙃
Killer sound and a good guitar for it (Gibson Flying V ?) ! By the way, in the video there is an "indian Shadow" and looks like a woman. Is she "Siox", "Navarro", "Commanche", "Apache" or "Cherokee" ? AHAHAH ! ;) \m/
Dude I like your cover a lot. I've been an Anthrax fan this album in particular with since I've been 14. Nice AxE BTW. N. F. C. !!! Nice Fucking Cover!!! 🤘🕶️🤘
Thank you James! Dude I love it so much! Sometimes it's a little bit "too" dirty but If I had to keep only one I think it would be it. I also have a SH-4 on 2 other guitars. Really like them too. I have some EMG 81 also. Don't really like them when I'm playing, but it sounds pretty good when I record so…
You have the James Hatfield style of holding the pick. That's the and one and only bad habit I wish my teacher wouldn't have made me break......it's fucking metal👍👍👍👍💪💪💪💪💪💪💪
Hey Dylan! Thanks! No it's a Gibson Flying V. I changed the pickup and the pickguard tho. I like the Scott Ian model but the price is just insane… Got my V for 600$ I think. Sounds terrific.
LONE WOLF1 $700 for the import. $4,000 for the custom shop. the new scott ian v looks badass. it's black with a mirror chrom pickguard and it's awsome.
@@1santos1 Thank you :) I wished I cranked the volume of my amp at little more though. It was my first cover with this setup, I think it sound a little too flat.
Everyone plays that riff at 1:05 wrong. It's not the same note, and it starts on the first fret and moves down. Watch Danny Spitz play it on the official video.
