Scott Ian is a fucking legend. I rediscovered the band after years of not listening at the We've Come For You All time and I pirated the album. Loved it. I went on the Anthrax website back in the early days of the Internet and found an email address. I wrote to say how great the album was and Scott himself answered the email. I went out and bought the album the next day. Years later, I worked in the music industry and had the chance to talk to all the guys in the band and they were as chill as you'd expect. One of the only bands I've had experience of in all my years in the industry and have always been the nicest guys from start to finish.

I met Scott at Ozzfest 2000 in Milton Keynes. He was just walking into the festival through the gates like everyone else!

I've seen Anthrax 3 times and every time Scott has spoken to me from the stage in between songs. Obviously because I have my old Anthrax license plate in my hand. Autographed by the whole band way back in 2003.

Only got to see Anthrax for the first time when they opened for Slayer in 2018 but I still wish I'd gotten to see them in a small club back when I was in college. Saw a lot of bands like that back then.

Anthrax is such an underrated band in my opinion. Apart from Slayer the best of the Big 4, definitely in my top 5 bands of all time. Along with Pantera, Slayer, Slipknot and Iron Maiden.
