Telephone is one of the best things to happen to the fandom! It's rare to meet someone who doesn't know her, which is pretty incredible considering she's only been around for a few years now. Yet, she's become the "queen" of the fandom in that short period of time and not only ushered in one of the best species in the fandom, but also many tricks and techniques that have made the fandom a better place for all of us.

Little Dragon Fursuits i wouldnt call her queen of the fandom, because the fandom is fucked up with sexual and some sick stuff; and honestly she does not deserve it

Telephone uses a home-made bird call, which looks like a flat disk that has a little reed on it that vibrates when you push air through it. You push the reed to the top of your mouth and when you blow air in and out of your mouth, it makes those noises. Obviously it takes a lot of practice and patience as it's not easy, but if you listen carefully, a lot of what Telephone says IS English, just pushed through a reed.

It's a great question. When I was a kid, I was turned off by people in costume. I'd run and hide, even into my teens. As I got older, I just dealt with it, but I wouldn't go places with people in costume, it honestly freaked me out. However, when I stumbled onto the fandom, I kinda had no choice but to break that fear and I did. So honestly, there really is probably not much correlation between the two... meeting furries at a young age and becoming one. Most of the furries I met, had never seen one before becoming one... frankly neither had I. My first experience actually seeing someone in costume was at my first convention!

Well, when I was like five i was walking past a place where a furry convention was, and I saw a bunch of them, and I'm a furry now so maybe!

Personally, I think it all depends on the person.

Shawnii Randel Funny enough I was scared too. Then I got involved in the fandom and my first convention was very strange. It took me a few hours to get use to being around Furries and now it's just second nature. So yea it just takes time and once you're in it, you'll learn to love it.

Little Dragon Fursuits I'm starting to really love them. I cant help but actually think I would LOVE to make my own fursuit! Or maybe just get a commision, although I know it can get expensive. I will be working soon though while going to college so I hope to save up.

I made my first suit and I really enjoyed the process. Even if you just make a head and focus on that, it's worth it!
