Hi DESI! My skin has transformed immensely in the past two years since watching your videos. I’ve been using several of the products you are recommending and following similar routine! Thank you 😊
I really love your videos. Please don't ever stop making them. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us 🙏 . I learned so much from you. Bless your heart.
I love that you’re showing Regelica’s products. I have that serum as well. The cream was very nice but the scent really disagreed with my skin for some reason. I had to give it to my stepdaughter. However, I’d highly recommend you trying their Vitamin C Immunity Support Essence btw. It’s extremely hydrating, smells wonderful, and has little vitamin c vesicles that burst when applied to your skin. I love using it! If you’re interested in high end/luxury Korean skincare for mature skin, I recommend History of Whoo’s Cheongidan and Hwanyu lines. They come as gift sets. I love the way my skin feels after using them!
The lumi line from Valmont is my favorite! Thank you for sharing. My favorite toner in the purifying balancing lotion by Sisley. Has been a skin saver.
Every single time I watch your videos I learn something new! I am very much interested in the pavise sunscreen! I like such innovative products. Thank you!
Thank you for the updated routine. I do use the calcium multi action cream. I've used the pink serum but super strong for my skin. I can't use it with other actives. I guess I have sensitive skin. Ha! 😃😃thank you!!
Great video, very thorough and I enjoy seeing your updates. I really like valmont and also that pavise sunscreen. Would love to see an updated favorite foundations
Thank you very much for recommending affordable products, like the timeless Vitamin C :) Also thank you for recommending products which are available in Europe (where I come from), as well.
New subscriber here. Love your recommendations and explanations to the point for each product. Can’t wait to see more videos and more recommendations ❤
Great informative video, have you ever tried the Elizabeth Arden City Prevage City Smart SPF50 sunscreen ? It is my favorite sunscreen works great under makeup, I don't see any influencers talk about it.
Desi, I am so so glad I found you. You look gorgeous! In my late 50s, I’ve been taking good care of my skin for the longest time consequently spending $$$ on skincare products from affordable to luxurious. Thanks to you I’m discovering new skincare brands and most importantly efficient science backed products. You are extremely knowledgeable and I trust your expertise knowing you use these products and experienced unbelievable results. My skin looks good but my #1 issue is laxity, smile lines and jowls something I’m trying hard to fight and mimize as much as possible without needles or knife. Just one question, what are your 5 holy grail, non negotiable products that can help me reach my goal if it’s realistically attainable. I do trust you and thank you very much for helping all of us. Meilleurs vœux Madame😉🙏😍
Thank you for your note!! 💛💛💛 The most powerful products that made a difference for me are: Auteur Line serum, Calecim Professional serum, Tretinoin and Auteur Density cream. I used all of these once a day at night (Calecim sometimes in the morning as well). It took a year or two but they did changed my face. I’ve used others that are better but I couldn’t justify the cost because they are more expensive. 💛💛💛🌷🌷🌷
I’ve used two bottles of the chebula. It’s my favorite! I use it every day and the bottle last about five months. What I don’t like is the price, I’ve recently found a dupe for less and it should be arriving today. Chebula is a fantastic antioxidant, I can’t stand Vit C formulations. So I switched. Chebula also doesn’t oxidize like Vit c so longer lasting protection. And yes it does smell quite lovely.
Hi Desi, basically you made me buy all auteur products and I mean ALL! Waiting to finish my current skin care from UBeauty to start it - so I was wondering if you tried UBeauty and what you think about it.
Hi Desi, hoping you are well. Usually shipping to Canada costs over 35$ per shipment for many of these brands. Is it possible to recommend a few products per brand so we can save on the shipping costs? Thanks
Oh, didn’t know. Unfortunately, that’s the downside of affordable skincare; unlike luxury, they charge for shipping. I’ve made videos on Calecim, Auteur and OneSkin and can recommend every single product from those brands. Same with Regelica. And I have discount codes for all of them. Check Description box. It compensates for shipping and you can have a complete regiment if you shop within those brands. I continue making videos regularly as of this year so more to come. 💛
Dear Desi! How long would a Calecim pink serum bottle (5 ml) last, using 2-3 drops a day each morning like you are suggesting? Thank you in advance! Irina
There are certain countries that unfortunately have laws that prevent from shipping skincare from the US. A few in Europe and I believe Australia. I don’t know where you are but I’m guessing that’s why… 💛
😊hello i gjenn desi. Har du brukt dr obagi sine produkter? Jeg bruker de og har gjort det i 2 år. Men har lyst til og prøve noe annet. Har du noe og annbefale , min hud er normal til litt tørr . Ingen rynker😂❤ thanks
So much to choose from…my skin didn’t like the Obagi products too much although it’s been a while since I tried them. Look at the True Botanicals line. It’s fantastic and will keep your skin wrinkle free for a long time. I also have a code for a discount so you get a deal. There are also options in the ebook I just posted with my last video.
Hi Desi, do you find the Auteur makes your make up and primer pill? I use the Sisley Double Tensuer as primer per your reco- wondering if the auteur will work ok?
Hi! I never use Auteur in the morning. It’s designed to reverse signs of aging and it’s best used at night. Once a day is enough. Double Tenseur is still one of my favorites. I always have it in my collection. 😄 💛💛💛
@@desistark sorry! I should have clarified. I was referring to the Auteur SPF oil you suggested. Do you think that would play well with the Sisley double tensuer and the La Prairie foundation you recommended?
Wish I could get Sisleya SPF 50 in Canada but can't. Also hard ot get Beauty of Joseon (for under makeup). Wondering about Valmont's Daily Veil SPF30? What od you know about it. It's quite pricey (but everything is in Canadian dollars!)
Oh! Found a way to get Beauty of Joseon. Also ordered Calecim and One Skin. Your discount Codes worked beautifully. Thank YOU! I am really feeling a difference already with the Sisley and Valmont I've been using. Really apprepciate your videos. (Also still wondering about Valmont's Daily Veil.)
Excellent!!! I have the Valmont sunscreen but keep on forgetting to use it. I haven’t even opened it yet. I’ll do so this week and post on IG. I’m getting excellent feedback from people who bought it though…💛🌷
Yes, I use ALL acids in the morning. Vitamin C is an Ascorbic ACID. Lotion P50 contains Alpha and Beta Hydroxy ACIDS. Why would that be a no-no? You don’t mix acids and retinols. You may be thinking of that.
@@desistarkI've seen different experts say different things about this. I read that AHAs and BHAs can interfere with the pH levels of vitamin C and degrade the antioxidant properties and decrease the skin’s absorption of vit C. I guess this is solved by spacing them out for like 20-30 min.
That Timeless Vit C is 20% and they also have a 10% version. Skinceuticals Vit C is 15%. Not quite exact. For me, the Timeless is my least favorite Vit C serum, too bad great price point.
A small change in the formula is mandated in order to prevent patent infringement on the Skinceuticals Vit C. Considering the encapsulation is the same, the results are identical and the price point difference, the ROI (return on investment) on Timeless is 72% greater. I’m in Finance so “numbers geek”😄
Excellent!! No, if your skin survives the retinol, it’s definitely not damaging your nails. 😄 I usually don’t apply it on my nails but yes, some of it gets there unintentionally. No worries, you’re good!! 💛🌷
