In one instance I attacked a British island that had only 1k troops with my 30k. I had worse tech (I think it was skirmish vs. trench) but still it's just 1k. Their troop count went down to like 70 soldiers (took like a month). I had about 20k men still. And then for some magical fucking reason their troop count is just stuck at 70 while I keep losing troops in the battle. I actually lost that battle to those 70 vibranium-powered British space marines facing down my puny 20k army.

For some reason France in Vicky 3 is really strong (high population/popgrowth, good numbers across the board, and small territories all around the world for high flexibility) as opposed to Vicky 2 where it's just a wet cardboard box waiting to get crushed by Germany and it's 12 bajilion modifiers. Historically France was politically unstable and for some reason did not really have a demographic transition (the lapse of time before diminishing natality catches up to falling mortality, responsible for a large increase in a given population) meaning it's relative power fell dramatically compared to it's previous existence as the country that could fight coalition after coalition (even as a kingdom). Probably the parts that should be implemented, as in make governing a house of cards and give some "historical" diminished pop growth modifier.

Why not dude? It's a totally immersive historical strategy game. Manchurian Qing troops pillaging Berlin, Ethiopian princesses buying Louisiana, India reforming the HRE. It's great to see realistic history come to life in the video game format.

The saying is you play dark crusade for the story and soulstorm for downloading ultimate apoclypse mod. @@Szarekh I'm very much open to criticsm. That's actually a huge portion of how my channel ended up the way it is. Regarding the DoW video I can also tell from the stats that it wasn't of interest for most people. You may be right that with the mod I would get more view, however I don't want to play the mod. The reason I played DoW is purely for nostalgia. I love the base game which is super fun and the moment I looked at the mod(Which I did get suggested back then) it just didn't seem fun to me.
