Last week, we completed another K9 Field First Aid Course for anti poaching unit K9 handlers working in and around Hluhluwe - Imfolizi National Park, South Africa.
Funding for the Global Conservation Force field ranger training module was made possible with grant funding from Elephant Cooperation.
Planning, coordination, location (Project Rhino ZAPWING), lunch and invitations handled by Natasha Frolander, GCF K9 Anti Poaching Unit Project Coordinator, with help from Junior Bloom and Grant Fowlds of Project Rhino.
Instructing and overseeing Veterinarian was Dennis Bosscha, DVM of Mtubatuba Veterinary Clinic in Kwa-Zulunatal, South Africa. Thank you for volunteering your time and supplies for the course!
Course module content and module standardization created by Ikhala Veterinary Hospital with oversight from Dr William Fowlds in collaboration with Global Conservation Force.
Special thanks to all who attended and helped make this field module possible!
