It made it much easier to shift gears much more smoothly. I wish I had done this a long time ago. I just used one washer, and I honestly think the shifter is a little sloppy, but I can deal with it. I can't imagine using two or even three.
Joey Foronda, I don't know why I am not seeing your comment here but to answer your questions. No the 1992 ZF 6 speed is not the same as the T56 in the C5 so I don't think this mod will work for you. As far as the short shifter, it is a full unit not just a long one cut. The pivot point of the shifter is different. Glad you like the videos, there are plenty more to come.

Looks like any car with the T56 trans can take the mod. Corvettes from 1997 - 2007. But short shifters are the ones that benefit most. So from what I have read any 6 speed C5 and early years of the C6 have the T56 trans. The shifter does not matter the mod is in the trans.
