When I first seen the cup at the start I thought they are not very practical looking, by the end I fully got what you are saying and the cups are really beautiful as well.
Your bisque is a very soft (Low) Bisque. 850*C? Is that right? What temp do you glaze fire to? The right line on the kiln is 1350, which would be ^14 here in the states. What's your clay body? I love your work... VERY cool.
hhi....yess bisque is nearly 850°C but the glaze-firing at 1280°C! All selfbuild kilns with a 50 years old electromechanic- switch off temp.measurement. ..without any resistence for Pt-Rh element, so when shows 1350, than is exactly 1280°C :D hehe special, ...but no electronic parts: no destroy by storm etc.
