I am glad more and more people are going childfree around the world. Personally, I am childfree and also an antinatalist, primarily because of the fact that childbirth is absolutely horrific and it terrifies me. As a man, I do not want to reproduce at the expenses of another human's pain and destruction. The very fact that around the world, women are being directly or indirectly being forced, indoctrinated and compelled into going pregnant and facing the absolute horrors of childbirth, just break me up .😢 Anyways, thanks for this video ! 🙂

@@LawrenceAnton Haven't watched all the way to the end yet, but during the part where they mentioned reasons behind low birth rates in Poland, I missed one important detail. There's a lot of anxiety surrounding the current political situation with Russia - will there be a war? If so, it would be cruel to bring a child into life in a war-torn country. Poland is Russia's number 1 enemy and Putin is completely insane, I wouldn't put it past him... :(

I think that antinatalim makes more sense in view all the hassles we go through every day, than any religious or philosophical explanations. We didn't came here; we are brought here. And there is no way out, whether you like it here or not.

well... there is a way out. it's just not pleasant or easy. this is why the right to die sometimes goes hand in hand with antinatalism. both "movements" attack the same delusions that the average person holds: that life is sacred and a gift, and it must be perpetuated and prolonged at all cost. if we had the right to die, that way out would be made so much easier and infinitely more pleasant for all parties involved.

@@sneakycactus8815While the right to die is very important, it wouldn't make it "so much easier". Scd is hard mostly because of the emotional struggle, not because you lack the resources to do it. I'd much rather off myself privately than go to a hospital and tell all my family members about it beforehand.

I wish you would have gone more into the fundemental arguments of yalls beliefs rather than just say "i just didn't see enough arguments against AN, so it just made sense". I get it, you are with 4 people who have a similar worldview and this video was more about what the AN scene in Poland looks like rather than philosophy. But hearing someone say they are an extinctionalist or making the distinction of between true antinatalism and not having children, really made me want to dig deeper and like ask about what is the goal of it all or what would make the world worth giving life to. I really wanted to hear personal stories about their purpose (or lack there of) in life and the state of the world from their perspective. And id would have been nice to hear how the historical undercurrents in Poland influenced in how they ended up in their beliefs. I know it would have been really hard to make questions to get such metaphysical answers from strangers but I would have personally been very interested to hear.

As an antinatalist I'm comfortable with the idea that life is not worth starting, but is there a clear view of abortion? It's essentially ending a life perhaps before it is aware, or do pro-life and pro-choice positions run independently from antinatalisism?

Antinatalists hold a variety of positions of abortion, I don’t think Antinatalism necessarily implies a specific view on abortion.

Abortion prevents suffering. Suffering - is the only thing that matters ( therefore, suffering is bad, regardless if who suffer), anything other seems to be important, because it influences amount of suffering, for example, food decrease suffering, deceases increase suffering.

@@combinero.YT_deletes_comments. But what about voluntary euthanasia? If life has started, the implication is antinatalism is no longer a consideration and we live life as best we can. But if life is on the whole, a net suffering, can't I end my life now if this is the case? Does an unborn baby really, literally not suffer abortion. I'm pro-choice but this is a sticking point for me.

Nie wiedziałem, że ta patologiczna idea jest nad Wisłą tak popularna. Pytanie tylko czy na tych grupach są antynataliści z przekonania czy też przede wszytskim żerujecie na problemach egzystencjalnych ludzi.

Nie jest patologiczna. Jest zdrowa. “Psychiatria nadal wychodzi z założenia, że to, co „zdrowe” i sprzyjające życiu, jest tożsame z największym dobrem człowieka. Depresja, “trwoga przed życiem”, odmowa przyjmowania pokarmów itp. to bez wyjątków oznaki patologii i choroby, którą należy poddać leczeniu. Natomiast w wielu przypadkach jest tak, że owe fenomeny stanowią właśnie przesłanie pochodzące z głębszych i bardziej bezpośrednich pokładów życia, przesłanie będące gorzkim owocem geniuszu uczuć i myśli. Przez to stają się one źródłem tendencji antybiologicznych. @@almari3954Kiedyś rozmawiałem. Nawet mamy wiele punktów wspólnych. Np. że sprowadzenie kogoś na świat to robienie mu krzywdy bo gwarantuje cierpienie i śmierć a wszystkie potrzeby istnieją bo on istnieje. Jednakże ja mam inne kryteria dobra i zła niż wy i uważam że istnienie samo w sobie jest dobre. Podobnie jak cierpienie jest złe per se. Gdy słyszałem po raz kolejny te same argumenty stwierdziłem że rozmowa nie ma już za bardzo sensu. Za to postanowiłem że będę zwalczać waszą ideę jak tylko potrafię.
