I thought about you the other day when I found a small ironstone plate all brown and crazed. That's coming home with me for $1... yay! Love your videos! You're so real and you crack me up. Thank you for another fun one!
Hi Genevive. I agree with you cat urine is the worst. Love the basket. So awesome. Bluey is so adorable. I bet Claire with love it. I really love your Campfire tin. That is on my be on the lookout list. They are so pricey though. I will keep looking for one at a decent price. Butter crock so cute. Really love all your amazing finds. You always find the best treasures. The Salt Crock is so amazing. A lead test is probably a good idea. Just to be safe. Thank you so much for sharing another video with us. I just love your hutch and all your goodies. There is always room for one more piece in your collection in your hutch. Take Care. God Bless You and Your Family. ❤
It is funny how us RU-vidrs are influenced into buying like items because we watch these videos & want what they have! Everyone wants white ironstone, brass candle sticks, butter pats, marshmallow tins, etc….. I wonder what we will be influenced to buy next?…. I hope not Victorian decor…. Because that’s what I like!…lol😂
Hi Genevieve, Just a FYI... I have a simular salt crock and I put a small glass bowl inside mine to add salt. I also do not want to put salt inside d/t possible lead. You found great treasures and thanks for sharing. I was watching one of your ironstone collection videos -- the pitcher you have with the spout is an ice water pitcher use in resturants (resturant ware). It is an american ironstone piece. I love mine and it is very unique. Mine is stamped Greenwood china Trenton NJ. Dates 1900-1919.
Hey Gen!!You were so relaxed and happy like a little girl in a candy store and I get it !!!!I love everything you found ,but the salt container, the tureen, cocoa crazed creamer, and that beautiful basket are my favorites!!!!You were glowing!!!Enjoy everything hon!!!!😁🧡🎃👍
You got a lot of goodies for what you spent! My favorite piece is that tiny tea pot, so pretty, and the salt crock. I have one too, it's enamelware, and I use it every day. Mine does hang beside my stove and I still love it. I just love your enthusiasm for your treasures!! I found a vintage shaving mirror this weekend at a flea market and I was positively giddy! Enjoy the rest of your vacation.
So many beautiful items in this haul. I especially love the salt box & butter crock. If you can, pls. send us prayers here in Florida. I though Helene would be the last hurricane of the season & here comes Milton currently a category 5. Navigating these turbulent times is so stressful. Thank you.
Genevieve, if you test your salt crock and are unable to use it with salt ( if there is lead or anything). I have one and I have it on my kitchen counter by my sink and I have a cute soap pump in it, dish rag etc to use for washing my dishes, you could put hand cream in it, many uses, for fun you could style it on a coffee bar with tea bags ,or kurig cups, just a few other ideas for use, have a wonderful day!
Just watched your video while I got ready as I normally do and I loooooooove the basket!! But that salt crock 🫰🏼🫰🏼🫰🏼 honestly my favorite part of it is the lid ❤❤ it’s so cute!
I have a few ironstone pieces & never knew about the lead concern! Thanks for sharing that. Can you tell me more or the dangers associated with using the pieces? Txs
Hi Genevieve, love your new pieces but mostly of all I love your hutch. I've asked you this before but I don't think you replied. Where did you get your hutch? I've been on the search for a similar one but haven't had any luck. I love that it had sliding doors.
i finally got some butter pats but the amt will never match what you have. i'm collecting restaurant ware with green stripe and bought some from an online auction.
Is it just me....? I find I detest the use of the term "stinkin' as in 'stinkin' cute. Especially, after that story about buying a basket reeking of (stinkin'!) cat urine. Surely, there must be a nicer word to describe something praiseworthy.....?
There are so many more things in this world you could worry about rather than a silly phrase with an adjective that I use to describe home decor.. Like really?! 😂 How stinkin ridiculous 🤣
