Marla, my favorite times in your videos are not looking at all your wonderful finds that I drool over. But my favorite times in your videos are when you share your testimony of your faith and love for the Lord. It touches me so directly to hear your gentle certitude of God's love and I am blessed by it. Keep on sharing. Oh, and I was a little giddy when you mentioned the comment I made. 😊 I will have to share this video with my kids who are always ragging me about my treasured memory items that I love to fill my house with. The first video I ever watched of your was one in which you described your style of decorating as "Cracker Barrel". I knew right then you were a kindred spirit. Watching you, I have learned to cherish my own decorating style. When I am gone, my family can donate all of my treasures and someone else will have the joy and excitement of finding those things just like I did. It makes my heart happy to think of that. Hope and pray the rain stops and the she shed moves forward and you are able to find some quiet moments and places to rest. ❤

Sweet Marla, I absolutely do enjoy the life God has blessed me with, and part of that life includes you. I can’t do the things I use to do, but God has given me you. I love watching you share all of your finds and treasures, and seeing you surrounded by your big family. What a blessing although I know you’re going on adrenaline much of the time. I have a large friendship quilt from the 1940’s hanging in my hallway that disguises the ugly modem on the wall. My grandchildren use to hide behind it and play peek-a-boo as toddlers. I love that quilt. And I have a cane bottom chair that was on the porch of my great, great grandfather’s log cabin (I have pictures) that hangs on the wall of my porch. So you can see why I enjoy watching you go through your treasures and I’m right there with you! My world is small now and I count you as one of my dear friends although we’ve never met. I look forward to meeting you one day in heaven. I’ll walk up to you and say, “Marla, you don’t know me, but you were a true blessing to my life! God put you in my life to encourage and bring joy to me when I needed it the most.” We’ll have so many things to say! Thank you for being my friend.

HI, MY SISTER IN CHRIST & EVERYTHING VINTAGE!!!! I have missed you this past week and a few days! My dear hubby and I went to Texas for a wedding and then stayed and toured a bit. Of course, we had down days b/c with all my back pain and polymyalgia I cannot go all day every day!! Now that we are home, I have not been able to get out of bed! So, it is my time right now to catch up with my dear friend Marla and see how your she shed is coming along. I love the quilts you got. When you hang the chairs on your walls you can lay them on the seats like your inspiration photo from Pinterest!!! Thank you for your prayers and i pray for you too! Blessings ❤❤🙏🙏

Wow...just felt like I went thrifting with a friend ...and had a lil church too...thank you...💗 My neighbor called me one day, she said ...I know you like old stuff...everything left from her father's passing was put to the curb...gave me the address...I have an antique oil lamp, dresser, and quilt...the quilt has damaged but I hang it over my dry sink towel bar...of course, layered with doilies etc....there is a kinship between fellow collectors but especially through Jesus! Thank you so much! The Lord allows us to encourage through our struggles....💗💗

Oh Marla - I agree, we all are kindred spirits - soul sisters (and brothers if they are watching too :).... I love the quilts - oh my goodness they are so beautiful and worth saving and loving. Everything you find and bring home would be things that I would save too.... and the seashell - I believe for it it to get that size.... it is aged. My soul sang over that second quilt... I have binge watch your channel to many time to count when Im down with my fibromyalgia, Ra or Lupus... I always seem to notice something new though. Im with you when it xomes to old books and vintage items. I do have a house that is full of it and needs to unbutton. Im praying the rain stops so your she shed can get finished soon. I have always adore worn old things. We had friends come a couple of weeks ago and stay a couple of days and my friend said "your home is like sleeping in an antique shop:; My guest room has my great grandparents and grandparents wedding portraits in there, a colored glass collection, and gallery walls made up of vintage mirrors and pictures

Marla Ty for part 1 & 2.. Fantastic 🤩 I wouldn't hang vintage quilts as curtains bc it's too much strain on the fabric. Ok to hang folded on a rail. Important to periodically refold in different directions. God Bless 🙏💙
