This is a great video, thank you! Funnily enough I bought a second hand sl6 frameset from someone who also used Lordgunn in the last minute, and im looking at building a very similar set up to yours... Including Favero pedals, glad to hear you like them.
I still love my S Works SL5 tarmac rim brake weighing in at under 6.8 kg . I bought a new bike to replace it with disc brakes and just don’t like it as much , it’s also much heavier but supposedly more aerodynamic but I’m faster on my old S Works .
great build, i was wondering the size 52 is the same as the sl8? also just want to know your height and inseam? im also comsidering building a sl6 but not sure (im 5'9 with 30" inseam) thank you! more bikes stuff!
I’m 5’7 - I’d say you’re almost certainly not a 52 but if you’re going to spend that kind of money on a bike then deffo get a bike fit first to check sizing!
I'd recommend it - probably the best bike I've had. I had a c-bear BB in there and it was silky smooth with no creaks. Before that I had the standard sram bb and then some wheels manufacturing shim/inserts and that was less than ideal - bit noisy and not great.
@@JH_Cycles thanks a lot for the feedback. The one I'm considering comes with the s works carbon crank which is this is less likely to creak since you have no adapters
