Titian ware by Adams, England waa produced in the 1920's-30's? sometimes on their Della Robbia molded ware, sometimes on plain blanks. I believe the more sought after pieces, therefore more expensive pieces, are probably the handpainted, hand decorated ones. I am partial to "Lakeland" which is one of the painted, molded patterns. The border has pinecones, acorns, fruit and leaves. Lovely for Fall and Winter. It is pronounced "Tishn" with a short "i" like the painter Titian.

Vintage Vinnie & you make a great working team & cohosting the sales videos...always fun & enjoyable. ...Eleanor Roosevelt actually transcended into Eternity 60 years ago. My mother used to say that Mrs. Roosevelt was the 1st woman who could've become president, & given her history & the stories of how she assisted her husband, that notion proves to be true. ...I'm not surprised to hear you mention how you enjoyed studying history...you're just so naturally geared to have parts of your mind swimming around in the past, especially that wonderful almost dream-like era during the 1920s & 1930s... that period was loaded full of charm, elegance, glamour which literally touched & influenced most every aspect of life from architecture to fashion to farm implements...rarely does a period of time own an artistic style that alters the visual DNA of reality for a limited time...Art Deco in its own way is rather divine by its nature. ...Scott, thanks to Vinnie & you for your time & work to bring us a good show.

I suppose others have already told you - but I'm too tired to go looking! Titian is pronounced ti-shun. Titian is the English name of the Italian renaissance painter Tiziano Vecelli. For some reason red heads are sometimes described as being titian. Maybe he painted lots of red heads?

First Lady Eleanor was way ahead of her times. She did not have an outward Grecian beauty, but what she radiated from within was awesome. What she lacked in hair, figure, and makeup, she was given tenfold in wisdom, intelligence, and peaceful power. There still are strong and intelligent women out there that get drowned out by the ugliness of cable and social media. We are going to wake up one day and realize where great beauty and intelligence really resides, not in the hair, makeup, or a great pair of legs in a short skirt! Believe in yourself and what your heart tells you about individual strength and happiness. It never takes cruelty and harshness to succeed and win. Peace!
