A while back I found out I had an older sister in the US. This week Heather came to visit Canada for the first time! We explore, look for antiques and have fun! Follow along on this weeks vlog and don’t forget to subscribe :)
@@rossmacintosh5652 he was literally about to leave when we walked in. When I heard his sister was coming to town I didn't think he would be in the shop
@@olearyfam4 I know exactly how you feel Heather. I hate being photographed, always have. On your last day at Alex's you really seemed very relaxed when you were speaking on camera. So glad you and Alex found out about each other, how exciting that must be for you both. Looking forward to more visits.
The blossoming relationship with your new-found sister and family is so heart warming. Listening to Heather giggle through the end of this video was wonderful!
Thank you Heather, for agreeing to share with us, I think this is great for you both - family is so important.... btw Heather you have nothing to be worried about at all, you did great !! Look forward to seeing you again :)
Lawdy!!! You made me change my Depends on your Hot Sauce taste test. You didn't even break a sweat.. Your sister has a fun personality like you. I'm glad you found each other..
You know your siblings when one has you eat hot sauce and the laughter behind the camera from Heather had me cracking up. I'm sure you had a great time Heather and it was good to see you. Also, the Bob Ross cereal is cool, I need that in my life. Congrats to Stephen on the first real bit of independence that teenagers have by owning their own vehicle, all the best! What a sweet guy Dennis is to drive all the way from BC to meet you I'm glad you were there to see him and what a Canadian gesture to bring beer that's my kind of guy haha! Great vlog best wishes to you and the family Alex :)
I think its sweet that you and Heather tease, each other! And that she, is camera shy,but she is over comming it, for her bro.Great Sibs!Love you two!👨👦💕💕💕💕💕
I loved the west Edmonton mall when we vacationed out west. At that time (many yrs ago) they had a submarine you could ride in. We spent 9 hrs at the mall. Took in a movie, did the amusement park thing, and ate lots of food. We loved Fort Edmonton. Then on to the Rockies, and the Badlands. A great city with lots of Maritimers.
That was fun.😄. Beautiful scenery. Great mall. Our babies growin up. Good but sad. Your sis must be so happy to have such a new fabulous brother and family. So cool.
We didn't get to see you all having the poutine! I hope that is how you spell it!! Did she get to have some? I really think that you are so nice and funny and sweet!! Melissa and the kids are so lucky to have you in their lives!! I lost my dad when I was 11 years old!! I really hope you get everything you want out of life cause you deserve it for all the nice things you do for others!! Love you bunches!!! Janet from NH
Yeah I was waiting to see that part too, I'm glad you liked it. But you think about, you do eat gravy on mashed potatoes or cheese why not on fries, or in layers. Just enjoy each other life is to short, just like you got to see Alex's cute little way of trying to play off that hot sauce. Learn all the little fun and quirky thing you can about each other. Having a brother or sister is great. I can't imagine what it would be like to learn to have one after you both have your own family's. How great is that!!!!
Its so awesome that you have enbraced her so quickly and that its all seeming like it was meant to be. YOU and your family are awesome and I am loving the peeks in we get!
That was a fun video to watch. So glad you are from Edmonton and showing your sister around. Yes kids grow so fast enjoy while you still can. You are hilarious tasting the hot sauce. You brighten my day.
Wow what a great video! This one is one of my favorites. Glad your sister had such a great time and got to meet more of your and now her new family. Your sons first day driving to school reminded me of the excitement I felt the first day I ever got to drive myself to school. It was in 1972 and it was a old push button Dodge Dart.
So glad Heather came up to visit you and your family. It was good getting to "meet" her in your part of the world. Can't wait for you guys to get together again. As always thank for allowing me to share the adventures.
I saw sailing replicas of the Nina, the Pinta and the Santa Maria when I visited Barcelona, Spain in the early 80's. Wow, those ships are smaller than you think. Santa Maria was a " Carrack " class ship and was only 62 feet long. She was biggest of the three. The other two ships were caravels
@@Bill23799 Absolutely. I don't think you can really appreciate the scope of their journey until you hear something like that. It truly puts it into perspective.
So sweet to see you with your Sister, I’m glad your Mom and Heather are getting to know each other. You can always use more Love, you have a Beautiful family🌸🌺💗❤️🥰
So glad you found a sister and a whole new branch of your clan. And happy to see you get along so well. I wish you many happy new memories in the future. ♡♡♡
That seem like a great way to end a first time visit with you and your family. I hope you guy's had a wonderful time and lots more to come. But I did almost start to cry when she started walking into the airport. Best of luck to you all!!!
Got to the end of this video and realized my face kinda hurt because apparently I was smiling the whole 26 minutes. This channel is my weekly dose of wholesome, feel good entertainment. :)
So glad to see you Heather, from another U.S.A. citizen. We have been so eager to see and meet you. You did not disappoint me one bit and I anticipated you would look as beautiful as you are. Remember - you must return to us in the U.S.A. LOL
Heather you fit right in, you are wearing a lumberjack shirt. That's a Canadian thing. Nice to see your oldest child with a great set of wheels. Awesome. Great Vlog Alex, I would of brought you beer, but the security frowns on that.
Wow I just dont know where to start on this amazing video. Besides your knowledge that you share to easily sharing your beautiful City and amazing places in Canada you have a huge heart as it shows mostly thru your children. You and your wife have done a great job as I can tell thru how well manured they are. What a blessing you found your sister. That mall is like a whole city under one roof. That alone would be worth going to Canada. My hubby proposed to me at Niagara falls, we spend only few days but I loved also Toronto. We are planning a trip back as we have aged a bit, I'd would spend days in your treasure store. Thanks for sharing your many blessings you have a beautiful family. Thanks for sharing your passion, you should have your own tv show
What a great video!! covered much about YOUR life, loved it! Exciting to have your long lost sister for a visit!!!!I would like to find mine someday.... my long lost brother was found years ago..... I did grow up with 5 siblings anyways but there are 8 of us altogether, yes! Ya you and Melissa are such awesome parents I love it, and itdoes remind me of me and my kids when my kids were growing up. Fun Fun Fun video!! ty so much for sharing!!!! hugssssssssssssssssssssssssss God bless
Fab video, always love seeing what you get up to lol...such variety and fun things and you're all such lovely people that I always feel so much happier and somehow lifted every time! You have a wonderful channel, the best out there in my opinion...always fun and interesting and I learn lots too...Much love to you all😊🌹💕💕
Oh my gosh! This video was so much fun to watch. Melissa, your children and Heather are all so precious. You are one lucky family to have each other. It was wonderful watching your son take his first motorcycle ride to school. They do grow up so fast. High jinks ensue, when you and your sister get together. It was adorable. Thank you so much for filming this.
Awww how fun! You and your sister look a lot alike, but your boys really look the most like her. I know you’ll miss her until you can get together again. Thx for sharing.
Loved watching this video. For the record when eating very hot chili/sauce, you never drink water because it intensifies the fire. Drink milk instead or some bread.
Becky Cole was really fun to see DJ dance, I could never taste anything that spicy as I have very sensitive taste buds. Love watching these videos, does DJ have his own channel too?
That’s what siblings do! Me and my sister got together after almost 20 years. And what did we do? Walk over a bridge. Over a falls. We are both terrified of water and bridges 😂
Glad to see you and family with your sister. Obviously, everyone was having an enjoyable time with each other. As with the spicy sauce, butter is the best remedy to eliminate the effect.
I was watching this video today, and thought about how glad you must be to have many videos of Dave, Melissa's dad. So strange to think he is gone now, but the good news, he lives on in your videos.
