Antis - the loyal R.A.F. "War Dog" 

An abandoned puppy was found by a downed airman in WW2 in northern France. That puppy was smuggled into England when Germany invaded France. There he became the mascot of the Czech 311 Squadron. That dog then accompanied his master on all his bombing missions in a Wellington Bomber.
