Antoine, Yeore and even Samuelito; every time I listen to their performances I think the same thing: it sounds like older more experienced people are playing that. Like a 50 year old who has been through everything humanly possible. Huge sensibility and emotional range. I love these guys' music so much.
Sheer perfection. It often takes a lot of (hard) livin' to understand what jazz is all about. For young people to be able to play it so well (and so movingly) is extremely rare. Mr. Boyer, as usual, was more than great, but what really got me on this number was Ms. Kim's musicianship and depth of feeling on this classic Charlie haden number. She really "gets" it. There are very few people in musical history who have had the desire or the ability to demonstrate what beautiful things a chromatic harmonic can do. Her playing really touched me. Not since Stevie wonder have I heard anyone who really understands what this negledted instrument can do. As the French would say, "Formidable!'

Wonderful playing from both. But there is some very unpleasant distortion on the guitar when it’s played hard. The same with the last recording of the two of you.
bazdesh I don’t have a problem with distortion either, I listen to a lot of rock and metal. But this sounds like it was recorded too hot, and digital distortion is just unpleasant.
