@bjmarchives I think the interview is good. I'm just pointing out the fact that he's pretty bad prepared, which anton newcombe also says numerous times. But thanks for the video nonetheless...I really enjoy a lot of your uploads.
Anton is great as always, but the interviewer has to be the most incompetent goof I have ever seen. Why does he insist on talking about the album when he haven't even listened to it?
how odd. i seriously doubt he would. to me he seems like a very gentle and accepting person. he might ignore you though if you can't be authentic in any way
Not that I don't have any sympathy for work & attitude of Mr. Newcombe but please, people, show me one f***ing interview with him where his disciples don't take a dump on the interviewer in the commentaries. I actually think this guy did much better, than the others i've seen although I'm not sure whether it's due to Newcombe being more nice and focussed or the interviewers skill. I won't judge though. And neither should you. It just shows on how a ridiculously high pedestal you put him.
I cant believe the interviewer couldn't latch on to Antons humor... The fact that a popular t.v station got scared warning everyone drugs were involved with the BJM and Anton revolting posting take acid now signs all over is just hilarious to me hahaha If you look at all the mainstream music in america, alot of musicians have drug problems...its like the T.V station judged Anton and the rest of the band that is SHADY!!!
Great interview. Shame the interviewer is wanting Anton to like him too much. Interrupts, raises his voice to out-volume Anton cause he thinks his story is great too. Round 28 minutes, Anton says: I do magic. The interviewer has got an opportunity right there for good questions but doesn't even listen cause he's too eager to talk about his father. Too bad but other than that: great to watch
That would not make a difference at all. BJM ruined every chance they got, even though that Dig! was almost a fake docu , doesnt remove the fact that BJM was one fucked puppy and lots of Good and talented people have been frozen out by the music business because they are impossible to work with and unreliable
@Mindfuckedproject Because it's his job. He was sent to interview Anton about the album, of which he didn't receive an advanced copy. That's not his fault. This is how it works - the press are supposed to get an advanced copy so that they can review it and have something to talk to the artist about. The interview is done so the artist can promote their art and you buy it.

@mokiedokie Yeah... you're dead right there. How nice is it to see him like this? I was so certain after seeing interviews at festivals that he was going to OD or kill himself at some point.. Good to see him well! Also he knows about Jeremy Kyle?! lol

that interviewer hasnt got a clue about bjm music... whats the point of doing an interview without doing some background info... anton actually puts up with his ignorance....
Anton looks better than I've ever seen him. Good for him, he needed it. No wonder he got into drugs so bad...his dad commited suicide on his birthday. Sad.
i was cringing all the way through, especially when the interviewer said he hadn't heard the new stuff... he was absolutely clueless all the way through
sempercompellis Anton thinks there's nothing wrong with what R. Kelly did to those minor girls, because other cultures around the world treat girls like property? OK. How would Anton feel if R. Kelly did the same thing to his son? Seriously. What if some 40-year-old man hit on his son when he was 15, he'd be cool with it? I doubt that very much.
look this is a great effort..the guy was a little misinformed but he asks good questions. try and find a decent interview with Anton newcombe there's not a lot.??? as theres not a lot of good media interviews he just sees them for what they are..! ..suggest that you check out dead tv..when hes finished his tour...!
